Knew people who had classes with him at the UofA. They reported that Iggy was always down front, taking notes and asking questions while his teammates, in the same class, wee generally seated in the back rows and sleeping.

Pretty odd what went on. Not that any of us thought Zu was NBA good. Couldn't use his right hand or make a perimeter shot, along with not being a good defender.

Speculation by some is that Zu would rather go back to Europe where he would actually play, hence the Sixers resigning Council.

One of the lowest paid leagues. He made more in NIL money.

Max sum for personnel's salaries 104338 Eu
per https://www.basketpulse.com/en/Team/39105/description

He could/should have stayed to work on his right hand and his outside shot, but he wasn't getting any younger.

Was it that long ago the UA starting lineup had 4 NBA prospects, and the 5th player was a white point guard transfer from Duquesne with alligator arms?

Lute knew though. Lute said the best player on the team was sitting out a year due to transfer rules then.

Although I love TJ - no matter what Lute said he wasn’t the best player on that team. But he was a very key ingredient.

Lute was right. 2012-13 is the year that T.J. sat out. He has had a MUCH better NBA career than anyone that played on that team.

Mathurin is either destined to be the league’s best sixth man, or a different team is gonna make him a starter. He’s too good to play limited minutes.

Male and Female Execute Murder Plan
On December 7, 2023, at approximately 3:32 p.m., two individuals walked into an LVMPD substation to
report Marayna Rodgers missing.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Rodgers was out with friends on December
5, 2023, and had a pre-arranged meeting with her friend Sakari Harnden (19) who would bring her boyfriend
Chance Comanche (27).
Since then, Rodgers had not been seen or heard from. Early in the investigation, detectives suspected foul
play and obtained evidence to arrest Harnden and her boyfriend Comanche for their role in the kidnapping
and disappearance of Rodgers.
On December 13, 2023, Harnden was arrested in Las Vegas by the Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) and
booked into the Clark County Detention Center for kidnapping.
On December 15, 2023, Commanche was arrested by the members of the California FBI Criminal
Apprehension Team in Sacramento, California and is pending extradition to Nevada for Kidnapping.
Based on information obtained after the arrest of Harnden and Commanche, detectives were able to recover
human remains in a desert area in Henderson, Nevada. The remains were later identified by the Clark
County Coroner to be of Marayna Rodgers.
Detectives determined that Harnden and Commanche were responsible for the murder of Rodgers. The
charges for both individuals will be amended to open murder through coordination with the Clark County
District Attorney’s office.
The Criminal Apprehension Team (CAT) is a multi-jurisdictional task force led by the FBI and staffed in the
LVMPD’s Major Violators Bureau. It is comprised of FBI, LVMPD, Henderson and North Las Vegas Police
Departments.
Anyone with any information about this incident is urged to contact the LVMPD Homicide Section by phone

Here's a nice write up of Chance's basketball background/career in the Sac Bee. Website requires a paid subscription but I'm pretty sure you can view one article a month so the link might work for you all.

Beverly Hills High School. I must have missed that or forgotten. Notable alumni include Jack Abramoff, Corbin Bernsen, Nicolas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Richard Dreyfus, Carrie Fisher, Angelina Jolie, Lenny Kravitz, Monica Lewinsky, Erik Menendez, David Schwimmer, Pauly Shore, Tori Spelling and Betty White.

A rather electric group.

In the "Blame Jezebel" vein, this could be down to a beef between two women. It goes against their disinclination to violence to read the one participated in the actual strangulation. It's usually male violence at the heart of it. Sex workers have a hard enough path in life, what a horror this was.

Must not be very bright or have a very good lawyer to admit to a capital crime without going through the process of making a plea deal. But then again, killing someone over a cat fight with his girlfriend isn't smart to begin with. Must had have a lot of remorse.

Guess it's true that sex workers do make $1000 in Vegas.
