And with a single line, you've nicely captured the current status of UCLA hoops. What is it they call teams that routinely get their a$$ handed to them by the nation's elite? Second-tier? Maybe third?

So word on the streets is Jaylen Brown is a silent commit to UCLA.

That would shake up the conference next year for sure. We'd probably be picked 2nd or 3rd.

Behind who? Even if we lost our entire starting 5 a team of York, Pitts, pjc, Allen, Anderson, Victor, Ristic, Simon, Smith, Trier, Comanche and quite potentially Rabb and another player will not be picked 3rd.

Shocking, if true. I guess guys who choose UCLA are (a) unbothered by playing before a half empty arena, (b) eager to impact the college game in a way similar to other recent top rated UCLA players like legend Shabazz Muhammad (his impact was right up there with Durant and Wall, right?), and (c) uninterested in competing for a national title.

Good luck with that, Jaylen.

Adidas putting in work. As for the finishing second shit that is fucking absurd based off one recruit. Brown is really good, but he isn't all world.

Fair enough. I think the bottom line is, as long as Alford is in Westwood, UCLA won't be a contender. He was fortunate to inherit Kyle Anderson and Jordan Adams and Normal Powell (Howland's players), but shit's already getting real this season (bad losses to OU and UNC, narrowly defeating UCR), and it doesn't look to be getting much better next season.

97, how are we looking with Rabb? Seems like if we add him to our existing commits for '15, UCLA can have whomever the hell they want.

So UCLA's next two games are at home against Gonzaga and in Chicago against Kentucky.

The game is to guess how much UCLA loses the two games by in total. My guess is 35 points (about a ten point loss to the Zags and a 25 point loss to UK).

Word for a while. Zimmermann suuposedly too, but that isn't an adidas thing. Bragg needs to make sure his crap is on order.

This Gonzaga game is going much like I thought it would: UCLA fighting tooth and nail late (in the last 60 seconds) to try and get this to single digits and attempt to make it seem respectable when it wasn't.

I'm would rather not say anything is official, but...

UCLA = UNLV at this point.

There is no revival coming for the foreseeable and unforeseeable future.

How do you revive that mess? It's close to impossible.
