Whatever. After what this kid has done for this program-on and off the field-there is high value in giving him a little bit of special treatment.

Not complaining, I was just curious. If the UA AD paid for it, that's cool with me. He certainly brought people into the stadium and watching the Cats on TV.

This was the most enjoyable Cats team I followed for the whole season. The pieces fell into place, a lot due to luck. By the end of the season the Cats were arguably a top 5 team. I would have loved to have the ability to play UW again. Most of the pieces are still there, and many of the players we lost have been replaced. I am hearing some good words about some of our players. I want to watch the spring camp scrimmage game. I've never wanted to watch that before. I would have to keep Sling because the game is on the Pac-12 network.

Looked like there were some admin types or boosters on the plane too, so might have been a boondoggle which I’m fine totally with.

You would think that at least some of the transportation costs are being covered by the organization that is giving the awards.

I have no idea at all if the BWAA is an affluent organization or not, but would expect a business class plane ticket.

If this is a booster, then that makes it even better for UA football in competing with the bigger programs that have their own private jets.

We may never know just how much collectively this group turned down to stay for next year but I bet it was a lot.

Can’t wait for that 30/30 to come out and to see Fisch tits be just a foot note. To think we had the NFOY sitting on the bench through the first 3.5 games

That is a terrible list IMO. Sanders should be top 4 along with Ward. Daniels should be higher and Beck and Gabriel should be down from 6-10. Noah is about right

Like almost everybody, I love this kid.

That being said, he's obviously not playing well under this staff and scheme and I see it as entirely the staff's fault.

Since this staff seems unable to scheme to Noah's strengths, is there any chance they'll sit him if this situation continues?

Don't shoot me for this question. The staff is failing our offense and Noah in every way.

That’s what pisses me off the most. These are good talented kids.

The staff is completely not setting them up the win.

That’s on coach and co. And those who enable bad coaching by root root rooting for the home team are the real #banfans.

Rhetorical question, but why would he? T-Mac is gone, and he is risking serious injury out there with CBB/Babers/Adkins.

I imagine he is on the horn to Fisch, who knew how to call the 1-2-3 plays and have a short little QB like Fifita be able to see the receivers. Not like UDub is tearing up the B1G.

Not sure how many times this season the announcers have said Fifita didn't see a wide open receiver downfield. At least twice today, and I only saw the 2nd half.

He might stay if the boosters pony up the money to replace Brennan. But even with a new AD he might say no.

Don't think I see him staying if Brennan sticks around.

I know absolutely nothing, I have no inside sources nor do I have a good concept of football. However, let's just look as these:

Reasons to stay
1. Guaranteed starting position. The Cats QB room is full of walk-ons and mid-major scrubs.
2. Your coach will wear your mom's leis.

Reasons to go
1. No more T-Mac to throw to, and no one to replace him.
2. Better NIL money. Recall that Noah and T-Mac both took lower NIL money to stay. Think they regret that now?
3. UA is heading for even a worse season next year with a totally inept coach who really can't do anything right.
4. Protect your body and your brain. Like Brock O said, Fifita takes more hits in one game than a NFL QB does all year.
5. Find a coach that actually knows how to use a 5'8" QB.

Maybe he can go play for Fisch again, but they already have their QB for next season.

He would be foolish to not put his name in the portal, even if he stays.

Oh I agree CD and said so after that statement. I don't recall any derision towards Fifita, usually when a player regresses so much it's due to coaching and schemes.

Just thought that came from Brennan who was circling the wagons in an us against them moment.

I hope he stays too. Just needs to get a better scheme where he gets rid of the ball faster. Don't need to look for 20 yard downfield passes, or 0 yard bubble screens all the time. A 5 yard pass is as good as a 5 yard run.

I imagine Fifita still leads the nation in holding onto the ball the longest.
