You know Trump. He's the white Lavar. Those two are cut from the same cloth.

I doubt athletics does anything about this. This is going to be administration that suspends the kids. With the laptop trio, it was in the summer so they had bailout options.Alieberman wrote:How many games do you suspend these guys for being this stupid, costing UCLA a lot of money and embarrassing your country?
The only thing that could stop it is that the Charge a seemed to have been dropped. It will be interesting to see what ucla does with it now. It hink they are under such a microscope, ucla has to come down hard.wyo-cat wrote:Student Code of Conduct violations, Bug?
Here's what happened: UCLA got a sh*tstorm of negative pub for the past two weeks.MrBug708 wrote:Privacy laws will probably end any hope that we ever know what actually happened.

I'm surprised you don't like China. I thought you'd be on board with their strategy of placing a defensive outpost (wall) in a zone of their country rather than attempting to concentrate on individual invading Mongolian nomads.RiseAndFire wrote:Four thoughts:
- I'm very happy the three kids are on their way home and not in a gulag (!)
- It will be interesting to hear the players version of events as I am not taking China's version at face value and rushing to blast them. Presumed innocent.
-Trolling UCLA will be so easy they will never live this down
- Fire Larry Scott. He needs a Direct TV obsession not a China obsession
Not as cool as LV shades.MrBug708 wrote:CoolBeachcat97 wrote:Here's what happened: UCLA got a sh*tstorm of negative pub for the past two weeks.MrBug708 wrote:Privacy laws will probably end any hope that we ever know what actually happened.
And Arizona gets their negative pub for the next X months.Beachcat97 wrote:Here's what happened: UCLA got a sh*tstorm of negative pub for the past two weeks.MrBug708 wrote:Privacy laws will probably end any hope that we ever know what actually happened.
Actually, last I checked, Trier won Pac-12 player of the week, we're 2-0, and building nice momentum for the season.Statfreak77 wrote:And Arizona gets their negative pub for the next X months.Beachcat97 wrote:Here's what happened: UCLA got a sh*tstorm of negative pub for the past two weeks.MrBug708 wrote:Privacy laws will probably end any hope that we ever know what actually happened.
I thought I read in an article that Hill stole the LV glasses and Ball and Riley were accomplices and didn't report himMrBug708 wrote:Privacy laws will probably end any hope that we ever know what actually happened.
I thought it was fairly widely reported they stole from 3 different stores, evidenced by video surveillance? Not sure if it was all Hill in those cases, but the theft's seem to be more severe than a pair of sunglasses.Jefe wrote:I thought I read in an article that Hill stole the LV glasses and Ball and Riley were accomplices and didn't report himMrBug708 wrote:Privacy laws will probably end any hope that we ever know what actually happened.
I could see Hill getting a 3-5 game suspension. Maybe 1-2 games for Ball and Riley.
Both stories are out there, which makes me think nobody really knows.baycat93 wrote:I thought it was fairly widely reported they stole from 3 different stores, evidenced by video surveillance? Pretty much. If any of us did the same thing, we'd be in Chinese Federal pound me in the ass prison for years.NYCat wrote:Isn't a president asking a foreign government to release student athletes the biggest improper benefit ever
You, I or any of us wouldn’t be stupid enough to jack shades in a totalitarian county.UAEebs86 wrote:Pretty much. Just read it. He must be looking at that as a statement on the Pac / China deal that he needed to lead with the incident. Because if that's the only statement he releases, it begs the question of how different it would read if it had been Arizona instead of UCLA for sure.Alieberman wrote:Larry Scott's statement on the matter is almost as bad as his Pac-12 channel deal.
I would imagine so but ucla has a brand presence in the far East with quite a few stores that sell merchandise for ucla. I doubt they sell LV sunglasses though. The PAC-12 will probably want to send ucla over there but athletics might not be too thrilled with thatBear Down Vegas wrote:Just read it. Have you thanked President Trump yet?MrBug708 wrote:Suspended infinitely. So they will be back sometime this season
I honestly don't know anything about these kids... Were any of them going to be playing big minutes this year?MrBug708 wrote:Suspended infinitely. So they will be back sometime this season
Depends on how much they stole, but ucla played a game and they no longer doMrb182 wrote:Ball, Riley and Hill are so amazing! They have not played a minute and already lead the team in steals lol!

I'll never understand why he sold out the program for the Ball family. So far, the Balls have produced a 3rd place Pac finish and a Trump pardon.Spaceman Spiff wrote:http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/03/31/ ... a-scumbag/" target="_blankBeachcat97 wrote:Alford better not leave his wallet lying around.
Neither should Riley, Hill or Ball.
Hey, that's funny, I'll never understand why you'd troll Arizona fans, make a bet, and then bitch out of it. "No. You are suspended infinitely."
Now we find a fun way to compare Alford to Coach KChicat wrote:I don’t understand why they aren’t suspended for the season, or at least for a defined time period. Indefinite strikes me as “until the team needs you”.
