I remember a 15-20 minute recovery when I was 20. Oh, we are talking about hands still?

It will be confirmed when he comes into the game. Doubt he starts, but he'll play. If you listen to Trier, he's playing.

Would rather have him Saturday. Two more days of rest, harder opponent.

Honestly I want the full team to play together as soon, and as much as possible. This year could, and will be, much different with a full healthy lineup...

Now in the 1st round of the Mock Draft at 30th. I believe he was 44th then 33rd earlier last month. Not even on the list in '15

Kaleb 48th and no love for Ryan

If AT picks up where he left off, he could very well be a 1st round pick.

Even just having him as a competent body out there was nice. obviously not the difference maker tonight, but I bet we dont win tonight if he isnt playing.

AT should not have fouled out. Ref got the call wrong on at least one "charge". But good to see him back.

I disagreed with three if not 4 of the fouls called in him. Tough luck, for sure

I like Simon, but Zo is just a better offensive player. Even if he doesn't produce a ton, he demands respect and gives us a weapon.

AT was just about to do some serious damage in the Pac this year when the injury happened. I love that he's got a few weeks to find his footing before the dance. His presence on the court means opposing teams can't swarm Gabe as much.

His D was very good in the second half. Had a few trips on that end where id call it amazing. Hes lookin like he was early in the year, struggling from outside and then figuring out he can get his driving hard to the basket.

Fwiw. AT is climbing up draft boards. I think he's a harder read than, say, AG because AT is more of a marginal first round pick. AT is not a lotto pick, and I'm not even sure he can become one. If he gets a first-round guarantee from some team, pretty sure he's gone.

Moved up 1 spot to 29. Zeus still at 44. Ryan finally on the list at 58

It's not Zeus and RA I'm worried about, though it's great to see them getting some attention. I'm sure KT and RA will attend draft camps and get their shot.

If AT has a big March, it's hard to see him not being a first round pick.

So Trier just showed out for 20 plus NBA scouts and some execs. 8-17 for 23 points. Had a couple of shots that somehow rimmed out and shoulda been at the line on that late drive where he got bumped hard by Loveridge on the baseline. A lot of wasted/poor possessions where I felt the ball should have been in his hands because Utah was having a hard time with him. In a lot of those, I blame out point guards for their complete lack of urgency with getting something going and having to rely on a desperation shot w the shot clock winding down. This has been a recurring theme though that several of us have screamed about. His D could have been better but he flashed some quality D at other times, and once or twice got penalized for great defense with a bad whistle.

Pretty good day for him and a silver lining in a rough day/week. Comanche being the other (wow, where did that come from?).

It came from the bench where he should not be. I personally think Dusan and Chance should split minutes

We havent seen that though have we? on defense or offense. I mean that one low post move... Not all year, great move and finished with his LEFT on on well contested shot by a great defender. On defense, im not sure he was lost once, AND he defended well. It looked like Miller time traveled and brought back a sophomore for this game.

i do want to see more, especially in the games with the more formidible bigs or the faster teams.

That was a game where the ball should've gone through Trier's hands every possession on the offensive end. He should've be close to 40 points in the game. Whether it was a lack of coaching that was not getting him the ball more often or the fact that York and Allen were being chuckers is up for debate.

That's not our offense, that's why. You still can make a concerted effort, even when the defense is working hard to deny him the ball. But when you aren't used to operating in that mode, and the theme is always balance balance balance and open man gets the shot, it can be hard to get out of that in the college game. NBA makes things a little easier for obvious reasons. Like I said, part of it too was the play of our point guards (taking their time to get the offense going, or not even looking his way), and yes, other guys jacking up shots before he had the opportunity to even get a touch, or at least a touch in a position where he could be effectively offensively. Look how long it took to drill this team into feed the low post, feed Dusan, feed him over and over. Trier's been out of this offense for a while and since he has been back, he has still been getting his footing, so that doesn't help.

I still think they could have and should have done it. It's just not that simple though.

I noticed several times near the end of the game that our pg passed to Trier early in the shot clock and AT passed it right back and ran his route. I think running the offense but looking for Trier at all times is the most we can expect from a Miller coached team. Also, our best play Saturday was when we would be deep in one corner and we would quickly pass the ball around the perimeter to AT in the other corner and let him create. This caused the defense to be off balance and allowed AT to get pretty easy layups. CSM is just uneasy with letting one guy take over.

Some advice for CSM: please make sure that AT touches the ball on *every* possession going forward. As much as I like Gabe and Kadeem, these guys can't do what AT can. Sorta feel like AT taking more shots can only help us.

I think more of an emphasis needs to be placed on feeding Zeus in the low post and earlier in the shot clock. You start there, force the double, then things open up for Trier and everyone else. If they don't double let Zeus kill them. Part of what makes Trier so great is his incredible efficiency. Part of that efficiency is not throwing him the ball and saying go get em Zo. While I think we needed him to shoulder the load Saturday, I felt that was just what was needed in that particular game based on his play and the rest of the team's.

You're right. It shouldn't be the Zo Show every time down the floor. And yeah, feeding Zeus in the post should be happening more than it has. I need fewer long jumpers from Gabe and Tollefsen. Swing the ball around, wait for Zeus or RA to establish good position, and work through the post. Not sure this works against a zone, but have we seen many zones this year? I know UCLA runs one.
