We're also recruiting the Aussie guard and KJ Lewis

Lewis is supposed to commit soon-ish apparently so could eliminate Stromer

That's a ton of guard recruitment anyhow

Stromer goes to high school right down the freeway from ucla, so my guess is that's where he ends up. But who knows. Tommy's got some unbelievable mojo going at the moment.

Yeah, but to get over the hill between the 101 and 405 it takes a couple of days…

With the guards/wings coming in that we expect, and the ones we expect to keep and contribute..what are our thought on Nowell? Is he capable of making a jump? Is he content with spot minutes for 1-2 more years? Or his a possibly transferring?

After a year of practices and a little game time (he got minutes in a little over half the games), he and the coaches probably understand his timeline and ceiling pretty well. Of course the coaches might see things differently than he does, which can lead to a transfer. Or they all might think he’d have a better shot at seeing the floor at another program.

It’s hard for us as fans to know what the future holds, especially since he only played about 60 minutes total of garbage time. But if he was tearing it up in practice, I would think Tommy would have given him the same last game treatment that Adama got.

Towards the end of the game I thought the announcers said that he missed the last three games for personal reasons. Any idea what the personal reasons might have been?

Meanwhile, Lloyd said reserve freshman guard Shane Nowell would be back in uniform on Saturday after sitting out the past three games because of “some things we wanted to address behind the scenes.”

We're still technically involved with Stromer, but outside of him that's all as of now. There's a whole summer of evaluation coming up though, so other prospects can and will emerge.

Nope, not even a little. It didn't take Miller long, and it's reasonable to expect, given his experience as lead recruiter for Gonzaga, that Lloyd can get the pipeline flowing even faster. I actually think Lloyd's recruiting ceiling at AZ is higher than Miller's ever was, and Miller had multiple top 5 classes.
