That should be number one, followed by trying to see how to get out of the lease in San Francisco, and then he can clean up officiating, which would make for a much more enjoyable product to watch.Spaceman Spiff wrote: Thu May 13, 2021 1:29 pmIt would be nice to see him get away from the cronyism that marked Scott's time. Or, minimally, keeps his buddies out of the replay booths?
The Pac 12 Network debacle has dragged the revenue and exposure of the conference down so much. Job 1 has to be getting that settled to expand revenue and exposure in football and basketball.
That will hopefully assist the goal of making the Pac relevant in revenue sports. Revenue and exposure will hopefully help recruiting, retaining talented coaches and lead to results.
It would be the first smart proactive move the Pac has made in a bit to embrace gambling as well. College sports hate it, but it's the future and there has to be money potential in the right avenues.

Maybe try a interconference holiday basketball tourney there. That idea's always interested me. You have 22 teams in the Pac and Big 12. 6 play in games plus a 4 round tourney over a week's time before Christmas. It guarantees 4-5 P5 games and hopefully generates 2x the conference tourney crowd.
It would be nice to have someone who creates events for Pac teams so we're not stuck in anonymity.
Who could have come up with something so creative (except for us dummies)??
