Not enough effort on the glass for us. LBSU's shot % is about half due to our pressure and half due to their being bad shooters. We have missed a bunch of open looks, so it's good we got those looks. Kinda meh overall. Good to see Barcello pulling the trigger more.

If the 49ers put up less than their average # of TOs against us ..... that'll be a very telling stat. Not that they need much help, but still.

When Ristic and PJC are the only ones rebounding good things aren't going to happen often.

Not a big concern but Ayton should be winning most tipoffs. Probably just a timing problem.

C'mon Trier, that duck in pass that was a TO was such a formulaic move,; he didn't really look to see if it was an open lance, just kinda shoved it in there.

The game is in Phoenix. Not that it helps much, but at least it won't count as a home loss.

I want to see defensive possessions that don't end either a turnover, a layup, or an open 3. Luckily the last several possessions have been turnovers. But we need a lot more of that forced shot clock penalty.

There's still hope for Lee and Barcello this season. Akot is getting fewer and fewer minutes. I guess he's too raw. I'd still rather see him than Pinder and Smith, though. And Randolph's 17 points against Purdue was a mirage, it seems.

Which of the freshmen do you most believe in (including Smith)
Lee and Barcello are the best freshmen (not including Ayton).
Akot, Smith, Randolph.... sigh.
My rotation includes:
PJC
Trier
Pinder
Ayton
Ristic
Lee and Barcello off the bench. Smith, Akot and Randolph not getting many minutes.

We needed to stop the bleeding and create positive momentum. This game does those things. Getting a good start was super important. It isn't gonna solve itself overnight, but this has been a nice step so far.
