Heard they didn’t like the way one of our guys reacted when he went yard. Did they throw anyone out? 7-3 cats in the 6th

I believe one of the UMass players got tossed.

Damn it I went last night but not tonight. I like the Hoffman bobblehead but I love benches getting cleared.

Cats win 20-5 and sweep the 4 game set. Not that you can tell much from beating up on UMASS /Lowell but scoring as much as they did is impressive. On to Rice and a set with Houston

Rice had the bases loaded with no outs and get only 1. 8-2 good guys top 7.

Cats rolling once again leading 16-3. So far this offense seems unstoppable

The offense is off to a great start, as is freshman Austin Wells, who collects 3 more hits.

Only thing that mildly concerns me at this point is the bullpen. The starters all seem more than capable, especially with how strong our offense is, but the bullpen for the moment seems a bit shaky. Plenty of time to work through that though.

Nice outing by Lebault. His whip is now .091. Not sure about the Houston pitcher but he obviously was very good. The way we came in swinging the bats I would have never guessed we would only get 2 hits. Hopefully tonight we return to form and we find a way to win this series

Cats down 6-1 in the 4th. Road troubles once again. Need to find a way to win this game and the series for our tourney resume

Baseball team mounted a rally and just fell short last night 7-9. They're currently up 9-1 in the 6th, so they are in position to at least salvage the weekend by not getting swept.

Coming into this series both teams had a similar RPI (40ish). Too bad we lost that opener with such a quality start from our #1. Now we get some cream puffs until sparty rolls in mid week next week

Game 1 our bats failed, game 2 our Saturday starter failed, game 3 we had it all working. Jay will get it all figured out, either way great learning experience for the entire team this week. Hats off to Houston's ace, dude was amazing.

Looked st the RPI of the next few OOC opponents and was surprised to see New Mexico has a higher RPI than Michigan St who comes in next week.

Then we get College of Charleston next weekend and they are a top 75 RPI club. We get them at home at least. Houston was top 50 and we lost that series do we need to get these next few mid week games and win that series next weekend

Bottom of the 6th and New Mexico leads 2-1 at Hi Corbett. Come on cats

Cats get 3 in the 6th then get a double play in the top of the 7th when the Lobos has two on and only one out. Cats lead 4-2 going into the bottom of 7

Well we obviously haven’t identified a closer as we can’t get the 3 out for the win in the top of the 9th. We give up 3 and NM leads 5-4 going into the bottom of the 9th

The way Jay has handled his pitchers tonight is beyond fucking retarded, this loss is 1000% on him. There was absolutely zero excuse taking Nardi out for Price in that spot.

F that pisses me off. Blow a 2 run lead and lose 5-4. Disappointing football and basketball seasons and now we are underperforming (my opinion) out of the gate in baseball

Jay absolutely blew that game, I can't believe it. You put in a starter to close the game, he does just fine, gives up a fluke hit, and you take him out for a guy you've barely played up to this point? Just baffling. Our bats didn't do their job either quite frankly.

Easily the most forgettable year for the major sports at Arizona since I have been following them

Bright side is we are ranked well in Beach Volleyball and Men's swimming!

The way coach over manages his pitching staff has been a constant since he got here. Seems first sign of trouble and he is walking to the mound. Also, since we have opened the hitting center it seems we have moved away from all the gap hitting we used to do under Lopes. Maybe too much info is not a good thing

Against UW-Milwaukee our ace pitcher gave up 2 doubles and 3 singles in a single inning. This season is going to be rough.

Went to warrennolen.com and saw that we were 188th while UWM was 134th. Amazing we could be that low.

Also saw we are now 0-2 after going 5-13 last year. That is a troubling stat for a coach who says they pride themselves on performing in 1 run games

Cats got their ass kicked last night and is on their way to getting their asses kicked today. Losing a home series to Wisconsin-Milwaukee is really bad.

We get 3 in our half of the inning so we now trail 4-3 in the 6th. Need the pen to throw some goose eggs from here on out

So after saying that our pen immediately gives up a 3 spot. Down 7-3
