Not a big loss in the slightest. His teammate on the line coming out next year will be a much bigger loss.

Big loss in the sense he is a legacy recruit who went to school down the road and could help us get the teammate... Way bigger circumstantial loss than talent.

The more I see and hear about WIll Plummer, our QB recruit from Gilbert, the more I think he is legit and will, at some point, be competing with Gunnell for the starting position a couple of years down the road.
This guy seems to have the tools and can play!

Just watched some highlights of RB commit Jalen John. Damn he looks great! I guess his measured 40 speed wasn't what it could be, but with pads on he seems to easily be the fastest guy on the field when he turns it on. Great vision too. The second guy in this class I've seen who I think will be real, real good.

Carcassdragger,
I agree 1000 percent! Jalen John is going to be an outstanding addition to our already very nice collection of RB's.
He has a superb blind of balance, quick direction change, and not premier, but very good top end speed. His speed will be good enough to win with.
He runs with good power and accelerates through the first, second and third layers of the defense.
I think he is a combo of Gary Brightwell and Bam. That's a nice combo to have!
I wish we could recruit every position as well as we have been RB's lately.

He becomes Arizona’s 12th commit, joining a class that ranks 78th nationally and 11th in the Pac-12, per 247Sports.
KS is killing it

Sumlin has obviously decided to go for the quick fix JUCO route.
Among the JUCO's he has offered in the past couple of days include two big Defensive lineman.

Have to wonder how many will jump ship, go pro, grad transfer etc? Doesn’t sound like a happy program.

Given the talent level on the team that might not be such a bad thing.

I think that's wishful thinking about JJ. I think he'll be hurt before the first week of NFL camp is up.

The best news for Arizona football since the Colorado game. Hopefully there is some other decent commits like this to come so we don't have to scour the European football market anymore.

He spent a lot of time recruiting him personally. His Dad coached at Boston College and it helped they were all let go. He must be pretty good one would think to prioritize him along with Harris

Dabney was Arizona’s highest-ranked commit per 247Sports, checking in as the No. 636 player in the 2020 class, No. 25 tight end, and No. 83 player in the state of Texas.

Yes yes. 500 more season ticket holders would definitely have had ALL the three-star tight ends banging down our door.

Just when basketball disappoints, Football is there to remind us how bad things truly could be.
It just feels like there's no urgency with Football. Let's take our time hiring a DC and if we lose commits, oh well.
