Score of the century! Found a guy in town that was on the crew that tore apart the '84-98 McKale Floor and the '98-14 floor. I wound up getting pieces from both courts. The 2 long pieces are from the latest floor. Thinking about cutting them up and making a picture frame out of them but not sure yet. The far left bottom piece is a small section that the UofA was selling to fans in April 1998. Some girl wrote all over it and put her address and phone # on it
I did not buy the dirtier pieces, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th from the left. You can see the CH from Champions and the L from National. I can get you in touch with him if you are interested

I just met a guy at a wedding last weekend that got enough wood from the last floor that he is re-doing his living room. He also has one of the old scoreboards

He was also part of the crew that did the 97/98 floor. He said they were told to sand off the cactus before selling the wood. Bastards!

Just clicking on the Nick Johnson, sold by Laura Zeng in China. The Rondae, seller is from China and promises 37 day shipping. You mean to tell me there is someone over there foolish enough to make a Jordin Mayes jersey? My guess is they have a few templates similar to the pictures, cheap materials and craftsmanship, and they assemble it all AFTER your order is submitted. It probably wont exactly resemble what it is in the pic, and after a few washes it's done-zo.
There is an asian guy selling cheap soccer jerseys in the kiosk at the foothills mall. I didnt even want to spend $19 for one of his Messi jersey's for my kid, that's how bad it was.

I bought a Brady and Gronk jersey for 20 bucks each and they're pretty fucking legit. We're talking pretty damn close to authentic, but I haven't washed them more than once so I'll let you know if they turn to shit. I'd bet that they just get the jersey real cheap and, like you said, sew on the numbers and shit later. All I know is that you can barely tell the difference and they feel like good quality when wearing them. I ordered the Salim jersey and will report back on that as well

Interesting. Is there a brand that makes the actual jersey or are there no tags? If I could get a home season's worth of wears out of it with washes in between it may be worth it. Not sure if I could bring myself to wearing a shirt under a jersey to extend time between washes. Let me know.

Nah these were both Nike jerseys with the tags. The quality for $20 is pretty awesome.
Got a Chipper Jones Braves jersey yesterday and it's pretty damn good as well.

Also, I will say this about washes....
Man up, dude. You don't need to wash a jersey after one wear, who are you my wife that thinks one wear means you must wash?

Well, the Chinese have gotten a lot better with the fake Jordans, you really have to know what to look for to tell some of the fakes from the real things. As for the washing, I can be a sweaty dude, and during the season I will have to be wearing a jacket or hoody over the jersey during my walk from the car to McKale, which won't help.

Coming from Hong Kong doubt any of the proceeds will benefit the UA AD.
Not that I haven't bought anything from there. Used to buy my daughter some great Abercrombie and Fitch clothes with very nice construction to them. Might have even been real, just "fell off the truck" prices.

Anyone with a man cave that needs upgrading? I thought these might have been our old lockers but after seeing them in person I think these were store displays. They have lights built into the top. He has 4 of them sitting in his front yard and will deliver for $25. They are massive! At least 8' tall, 3' deep and weigh 250 lbs+

taking our minds off ourrecent road trip and the conference race, has anyone seen the
new adidas subscription box service,
avenue a? thinking outside of the "athleisure" category / adidas' rationale for this and the subscription box bubble:
if the UofA and nike offered up something similar, would you subscribe?
maybe something like a quarterly box with a mix of exclusive or limited-edition sneakers, uni, apparel, tech gear, fan souvenirs, etc. for $600 per year?
the pricetag seems hella steep, but i can imagine a cross-section of diehard Arizona fans + sneakerheads / gearheads + those with money to spend who might be interested. plus, exclusive and single-run UofA collectibles are hard to resist.
what if it was $400 per year? just wondering.
