Nuggets had to postpone their game with the Warriors. They had less than the required 8 players, healthy. Basketball teams are just getting decimated right now. I just heard on the radio that 1/3 of the NBA's refs have entered COVID protocols.

I lost all interest in the All Star game when they stopped doing East vs West. Not that the All Star Game means anything but watching 2 random teams picked by captains made the game less interesting to me.

It makes sense having the team with by far the best record in The league not having any All Star starters
Makes perfect sense

The only time that all star games have meant anything was when MLB used them to determine the home field advantage for the World Series.
Other than that, with many players opting out, what's the point?

The game itself is meaningless but being known as an “x” time All star is a big deal… you might want to at least try to pick the best players in the league

Boy did the Sixers overpay just to get rid of Simmons and to not get better at all.

If Durant and Irving and Curry and Harris are healthy, with their newly acquired 1sts, they’ll make some legit noise for a few years if Simmons buys into his facilitating big man role. Lots of shooting and scoring surrounding Simmons now. Lots of spacing for his size and vision.

What’s that got to do with the Sixers?

It was a post about how much the Sixers overpay is going to help the Nets more than Harden.

The Celtics are embarrassing KD thus far, with yesterday both Tatum and Smart holding him to only 16 pts (while Tatum puts up 39). For a guy that so readily gets compared to the very best in the league, KD is fitting into the Nets more like a third option, exactly as he was at Golden State.
Speaking of third options, Ben Simmons appeared to be totally unaware he was at an NBA game yesterday, content to sit around and not play basketball, possibly for here on out. Combined with all the Kyrie drama and the Nets are a wreck.

It was right after half time and that security guard saw it coming a mile away. I bet that person snuck down there at half time. Wonder what they were about to do...

Harden and the Sixers blowing a 3-0 lead would be glorious trifecta. Raptors are halfway there.
