Calapari has a fun homecoming to Kentucky as Arkansas wins 89-79.

Glad Don McClain found work with the BTN. Honestly his commentary was very boring and repetitive, but he does know his stuff and glad he found work.

Even more glad Nebraska got the job done! After watching Big 12 games for awhile I don't miss how boring the Oregon environment is.

Anyone remember when Marist had an excellent basketball program? One of the first to get international players. Rik Smits probably the most famous, at least for my generation.

My wife's alma mater too.

My 1st year at NAU I befriended a teacher from Thatcher and he had reserved a tour of Lowell observatory and to this 18 year old it was pretty fucking cool. It was amazing to learn that 50 years prior, Pluto was discovered there.

Back as a planet?

The Astrojacks will land on Flagstaff's soil six times during the 2024-25 athletic seasons, featuring a familiar but interstellar color scheme of Nova Navy, Stardust Gold, and Pluto Blue, in celebration of the revolutionary discovery of the planet Pluto made right here in Flagstaff.

Lol UCLA lost at home to a Minnesota team that was 5-9 in conference play. I'd say it's embarrassing that they lost to a team that had about 12 fans at the game, but UCLA looks like they had less than 2k of their own fans.

UCLA has been on a bit of a run. Good for them. Was looking at the box score for that game and it was difficult to understand how we lost. Tobe must have been in foul trouble he played like 12 minutes and it was the game we found out about Krivas and Henri had a pretty bad line too. We out rebounded them though. Turnovers were high with 22.

Wow, Mick's run out of people to blame so now he's turned on the few fans they have. Brilliant.

No he still blamed Dylan. 1 for 6 and 1 for 7 last two games. The difference was Mara was getting meaningful minutes and starting to produce in the win streak. Not so much now. If you listen to his news conference he makes it clear he had them well prepared by saying we didn't go over this or that in a mocking style. Tommy gets firey at times but never ducks blame. Just a bad look for a coach. Wear thin fairly quickly.

UCLA's box score shows attendance of 7,500, but that's got to be tickets sold, unless they're just making it up. Cronin's some piece of work, isn't he? "The stress in Pauley’s crazy when a guy — ‘Uhhh, uhhh.’ I mean, the guy’s not trying to miss — how about help the guy? How about cheer for the guy?” So I guess their fans (both of them) should jump up and down and go "Yay!" when they miss a free throw. Free throws in a close game are stressful, just like putting in golf. You get your cheers when the ball goes in. And if you're the coach, don't play somebody who's going to so get stressed-out on the FT line if he's bad at it.

I miss 100% of FTs. But I make 100% of FGs. So I get the FT rebound and 100% of the time get fouled. I dominate the recursive game. My teammates hate me.
