(M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025

Every foul has been a shooting foul. That bodes well for a nice high scoring game.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Lute Olson nods his head at that end of half

It’s been a pattern.

I feel like this team get bored playing Pac 12 teams.

Excellent first half, good ball movement, good shot selection, only 2 TO's, excellent defense. That's how we want to look as the season winds down!

Yeah and that used to cost us a couple dumb games a year. Luckily Utah is very bad, especially on the road!
Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
Utah hasn't won in McKale since 1986. So yeah, they've been bad for awhile

I saw so many on court fouls that weren't called, mostly on Arizona, that would have put both teams in the double bonus in the P12 era.

Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
I thought the half was average. Bradley has really been struggling the last few games on taking it to the basket. Tobe playing hard. Love is hot but a couple of those shots is exactly what Tommy has been trying to eliminate. Hope ADO gets a few shots but only if the look is there.
Hopefully we can put some distance in this game and bring in Conrad and Stephen for a couple of minutes. ISU is going to be a test. The reason they are struggling is they have had 2 starters out. I bet they're back against us.

I think we should only report when he gets through a game without getting a T
Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
I hope he's saving one for next Tuesday.

Not a good start to the half

Should’ve rewarded Tobe there.

Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
ASU is apparently so depleted that even Bobby's kid is getting minutes
Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
He's trying to get it out of his system before the return match against UA.
He knows he's going to be under a microscope next week.
I'm absolutely sure they won't evade the handshake line this time

Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
Utah had some fortuitous loose balls go their way in the first half. Hopefully, that changes in the 2nd half
I will see you there, or I will see you on another time
Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
Caleb 5 for 9 from 3

Dell Afro has improved on his finishes

Remember that Gabe York free throw put back?
Jumped out of my seat!!
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

They also got a few easy buckets off of our steals that happened to bounce off our hands right to someone under the basket.LuteIsGod wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2025 8:09 pm Utah had some fortuitous loose balls go their way in the first half. Hopefully, that changes in the 2nd half

Tobe destroyed Love’s defender on a screen on that last 3. They should check that kid for internal bleeding.

You know the announcers said we were playing with good energy. Not sure I see that. We had great energy against BYU.

No offense but I'd rather Awaka take those 3s over KJ
Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
KJ wants a 3. Too bad it's a bad shot for us
Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
Was Jerod Haase the one that said that? Because this would be good energy for one of his teams.TheCat wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2025 8:17 pm You know the announcers said we were playing with good energy. Not sure I see that. We had great energy against BYU.

We are a little flat but Utah is playing bad so it’s not an issue.TheCat wrote: Wed Feb 26, 2025 8:17 pm You know the announcers said we were playing with good energy. Not sure I see that. We had great energy against BYU.

National sensation, Henry's cupping marks
Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
This is some bad basketball from both teams
Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
This game reminds me how happy I am we're in the Big 12 now. Pac games are dull as dishwater.

Conrad too
Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
I would put in Martinez to pick up the energy. Stephen would come in with Tobe. Let them play 3-4 minutes. Come out and then back in.

Lol Veesar looks so goofy and awkward with the ball sometimes but who cares cause it goes in
Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
There are 6-8 major conference coaching vacancies right now? Really Jarod?? I’m struggling to think of any besides Utah.

No there are many that have announced they will leave at year end. Indiana, Florida State to name a couple.
Re: (M) Game Utah at Arizona 2024/2025
Some of these foul calls are ridiculous

Lovering sounds like a product you'd find at the Adam & Eve website.

We may as well count Bobby. He's basically dead man walking at this point.

For any sickos out there after this game I think I'll put on the rest of the ASU-BYU game
