I'm excited to see him and Nico continuing to do big things together. Point Guard U and Wing U continued.
He's got a great frame and is ready for the next level. Very hyped that he's coming.

If that holds up... oh boy. Four guys who can pass and initiate the offense. Everyone can get to the rim. Length across the back. Quickness and strength across the board.IndianaZonaFan wrote:So currently we’re looking at this (Pending any transfer/early draft entries)?

Green is a sure fire one and done. 6'6" dudes with +4 wingspans who can pass, dribble, defend, and shoot don't hang around.Justyce1 wrote:If Randolph is around as a Jr he won’t be coming off the bench. Green is a great pickup, but I don’t think he’s an immediate super impact guy right away. I think he can be a good defender out the gate. But he doesn’t create his own offense very well yet, and that’s what BR does best.

Why the double negative, EVCat? Pointless...EVCat wrote: But I am not sure Randolph wasn't another that will benefit from guaranteed time this year...
I think he's on the fence. Wings are tough because there's a real surplus of good wing players. Green has physical gifts and does a lot of things well, but I'm not 100% his stock gets there.YoDeFoe wrote:Green is a sure fire one and done. 6'6" dudes with +4 wingspans who can pass, dribble, defend, and shoot don't hang around.Justyce1 wrote:If Randolph is around as a Jr he won’t be coming off the bench. Depends a lot on how he plays this year imo, but I hope Barcello doesn't skateIndianaZonaFan wrote:So currently we’re looking at this (Pending any transfer/early draft entries)?

Ok, less athletic, better shooting, right handed, light skinned Australian IggyBeachcat97 wrote:I haven't seen footage of Green that makes him look as bouncy and freakishly athletic as Iggy was in college.YoDeFoe wrote:Josh Green is Andre Iguodala 2.0?

Oh, Green is legit. We got a huge commitment this week, no doubt. Guess I'm just having a hard time comparing his game/skill set/size to a former 'Cat. I think someone mentioned Nick Johnson, which strikes me as more accurate than Iggy.YoDeFoe wrote:Ok, less athletic, better shooting, right handed, light skinned Australian IggyBeachcat97 wrote:I haven't seen footage of Green that makes him look as bouncy and freakishly athletic as Iggy was in college.YoDeFoe wrote:Josh Green is Andre Iguodala 2.0?

What makes you guys think BR will be back as a junior?Beachcat97 wrote:Hard to imagine BR coming off the bench as a junior. Is freshman Green better than junior BR?
Options. I do think he's our most likely early entry.ChooChooCat wrote:What makes you guys think BR will be back as a junior?Beachcat97 wrote:Hard to imagine BR coming off the bench as a junior. Is freshman Green better than junior BR?
Randolph will have better measurements both physically and athletically for his position than either Zo or Rawle did. He and Williams will also be the primary scoring threats this year. He'll very likely be in a better position to go pro and get drafted than both Zo and Rawle. It may not come to fruition, but dude is in a good spot for various reasons.Beachcat97 wrote:I know guys go pro prematurely all the time, but it still feels like BR has a ways to go to even register a faint blip on NBA scouts' radar. I mean, think about this for a minute: neither Trier nor Alkins was drafted. Trier was 1st team All Pac last year, and Rawle was honorable mention. So BR is going to have to make quite a splash this season to catch scouts' attention, unless he's just resigned to playing overseas.
Good points, Choo. I guess I'm just not remembering a single previous AZ player in BR's situation who went from averaging around 10 mpg as a freshman (3.7 ppg, too) to pro-ready by year two. If BR gets there, it'll mean his performance as a sophomore was pretty spectacular, or at least that there were hints of brilliance throughout the year. I know he was very highly rated out of HS, and I doubt that was a mistake. Here's hoping BR has a big season!ChooChooCat wrote: Randolph will have better measurements both physically and athletically for his position than either Zo or Rawle did. Oh it went fine, don't worry.Frybry02 wrote:any news on how the Armstrong visit went?
With Kansas recruiting both Nnaji and Robinson-Earl too, do you think this recruiting situation becomes first to commit to either school and remaining to the other school situation?
Thanks. The front court doesn’t seem like it is a need for KU unlike previous years. Seems like they will have plenty of interior bodies heading into 19-20. Of course this whole scandal and De Sousa may create some room.ChooChooCat wrote:Oh it went fine, don't worry.Frybry02 wrote:any news on how the Armstrong visit went?

Nah, I think Kansas lands both barring a change of heart. At the moment we're probably running 2nd for Nnaji and 3rd for Robinson-Earl. Maybe the Red/Blue game changes that, but I doubt it.
What about Matthew Hurt? Doesn't Kansas lead for him too? Can't imagine they get all 3 of these guys right?ChooChooCat wrote:Oh it went fine, don't worry.Frybry02 wrote:any news on how the Armstrong visit went?

At the moment they're expected to land all 3. Maybe somebody's mind changes, but yeah at the moment Kansas is about to do Arizona 2012 class redux. I think the sell is playing Hurt at the 3.goslingswagg wrote:What about Matthew Hurt? Doesn't Kansas lead for him too?
