It's absolutely nauseating that K called out his team for losing like that, in that moment. If you're gonna do it, do it in the locker room. Not on the biggest sports stage in the country (yesterday afternoon, at least), with all of his players' families there, in his final fucking moment on that floor as coach. Just a total lack of class and judgment on his part.

IMNSHO, the biggest difference between K, and his mentor, Knight, is that K has had the self control/discretion to keep his temper and profanity mostly private - it rarely slips out liken this, but there have been several, not-well-publicized, accounts over the years....

Trust me, he did it in the locker room, but in much more hostile and degrading terms!!!

He's becoming more like his mentor Bobby Knight every day.

Seriously? Lol...you know, for all of Duke's arrogance, their claim to elite status feels more tenuous than it has in a while. Who knows what kind of coach Scheyer will be? They did lock in one final monster class for '22, but let's see where that program is three years out. Five years out. College hoops programs can have long runs of dominance and then settle into mediocrity. Ask Indiana, ucla, Georgetown, Louisville, et al. You gotta have the right coach, a halfway competent administration, and a program culture that's appealing to players. I wouldn't take it for granted that Scheyer will come out strong out of the gate. We'll see.

I've heard a couple things: assistants claimed Hubert Davis didn't shake hands before the game, although he definitely did shake K's hand. Apparently Duke is also upset that UNC didn't do anything to honor K at Chapel Hill
