Bryant played Wagner and that was the game where it was delayed 30 minutes due to a near brawl in the stands.

It was partly caused by their star player (who I read above had already been suspended for two games this season) talking $hit to the fans when they were up 30+

Hope Wright St beats them as I don’t want any suspensions or fights as I know we will talk and not back down

Well that’s a depressing picture considering the short timeline…..I can’t see how we can expect Kerr next week but then again, I’m no Doctor. I don’t think we need him next week but if we advance, we sure will. BTFD Kerr and get healthy soon!

Not doctor either, but I've had plenty of bruises. It probably looks worse than it feels.

Man, I had a bad sprain in high school that sidelined me for 2 weeks that looked nothing like that. Let's hope Justin can use his magic to get him back on the court Stat.

https://www.health.harvard.edu/pain/rec ... kle-sprain

3-6 weeks
Moderate pain, swelling, and tenderness. Possible bruising. Mild to moderate joint instability. Some loss of range of motion and function. Pain with weight bearing and walking.

3–6
Can't imagine having to carry the extra weight of his huge balls helps.

The physician I heard on the radio said grade 3 is the worst, but assuming either 2 or 3, it takes several weeks to heal and he doesn't advise rushing it for fear of a collateral injury due to favoring. He added that, in his experience, the player doesn't listen and rushes it. In which case, a real medical and training staff knows exactly how to tape it to start playing after one week instead of several weeks. So, he really could play, and he's at some risk for a different injury when he does.

I hope he has limited to no action until the S16. I don't see him playing full time anyway so would rather have him 90%+ healthy first.

The question is can we survive the first weekend without him? We did against the Buffs and Bruins.

If you check out the video of his water treatment further up the thread his ankle doesn't look as bruised or swollen. I'm willing to bet that picture is from the morning after he hurt it.

You're right

But it shows the insides of his leg/ankle and not the outsides of his leg/ankle like the photo above

Could very well only have bruising on one side only

Is it possible he was just around some small kids and they were using his ankle as a canvas for their markers?

I had several pretty serious ankle sprains in my day, and a couple that looked just like that!! I did not have the trainers or medical staff of current day college athletes, but in my life that was a "six-week injury", with a lot of overly cautious play for the following several weeks...

... I got to the point where I could sense how serious a turned ankle was before I could even get up off the floor/ground.

Just sayin', as they say! I'm now trusting in the miracles of modern medical science!!!!

BTFD!!!!

Photo at time of injury is the best for prognosis.

The bruising at the heel indicates partial to full thickness tear of calcaneofibular ligament. We get the MRI to confirm thinking, but can generally make the dx on clinical eval. Blood pools there due to gravity.

Given he’s already in pool therapy, I’m speculating that he has a grade 2. Grade three, he’d be done and likely heading for surgery to repair a full thickness tear. Again all speculation.

For us mere mortals , bank on 6 weeks minimum.

For Kriisa, I’d advice get through the weekend if you can and have him ready for the second weekend. And trust that the trainers are gonna tape it down good.

First of all we don't need him for a week...so "Krissa playing this week" could actually be 5 minutes and it would be true.

I suspect they will watch it closely and Lloyd will pull him if he's a liability to himself or the team.

I also cannot imagine that the UofA does not have some of the best physical therapist, bone and ligament specialist in the world at their fingertips.

It's like getting a blowout while driving...for us regular folks its trauma, get off the road get to a safe place, unload the trunk find the spare or call AAA whatever...for these guys its simply get back around to the pit and let those people who are experts do their thing...the nice thing about it was UofA was near the pit stop when this happened, the end of a game with multiple tires available for the next race.

That picture does look fugly, but he was wearing crocs the night of the final game...crocs are not exactly known to be "safety shoes".

No way Seton Hall or TCU is as good as UCLA so rest him this week and get him ready for the sweet 16. If we need a couple of three’s Bal will make them

I first read this as "getting a blowjob while driving"

I mean it's unreal what he does in just a few minutes. And he just doesn't miss.

I'm giddy with the thought he will become Benn 2.0, just a more lethal outside shooter version.
