I don't recall what years Babers was here, but I do recall I wasn't that impressed.

My big concern was OLine, and Loop missing a kick.

I don't think Fafita has found his "other" receiver. He had Cowing and Tmac (with Lemonius) last year.

He was OC on the team with the best record in history, 1998 where we went 12-1

Babers loves the running game. He is a Fisch (haha) out of water right now. I think you are going to see do a lot of long handoffs as opposed to attacking down field as we go along

I dont recall exactly what question was asked.

But coaching 101 is you always celebrate victories. Always.

He asked Brennan why he actually followed the school tradition for celebrating a win when he didn't cover the point spread. I guess the band shouldn't be allowed to play the alma mater either when we don't cover; isn't that what everybody does? And this follows the incident of giving out information that resulted in closed practices. Makes you wonder why somebody from such a privileged background would act like he does.

Not sure there is anything like a bad win. A win is a win. Polls didn't care how bad UA played.

Not sure what Kelly wanted the Cats to do, sit around and feel sorry for themselves?

He just seems mad at the world. Regardless of the BS some people try to push, nobody expects or particularly wants a cheerleader. We had some people out, but we'd still expect to push an NAU around more than we did; certainly fine to say that. But playing the role of perpetual contrarian on a school's flagship station and getting in trouble with the coach seems questionable at best. I'm sure she's got way too many bigger things to deal with, but if I was DRF, I'd almost be thinking about a WTF discussion with Kenny of Cumulus. How hard is it to find somebody to take phone calls and talk Arizona football? Jeffries and Radtke did it without all the drama of the last few people.

I've often been critical of the local coverage and want the reporters to ask more serious or critical questions. But if this indeed was that actual question asked, all I can say is that that guy is a total jackass. What an embarassing fool.

If by chance Croskey-Merritt is ruled out for the season due to being ineligible, could the NCAA force the Cats to forfeit the New Mexico win? I ask because I thought the NCAA told Arizona before the season that he was eligible.

Don't have any insider information, but just seems it has to do with that one season at Alabama State where someone else wore his jersey but the appearances were counted for him.

How much is Babers getting paid to put this terrible product on the field? No fucking improvement at all through the first three games.

Regarding Brennan, why are these guys getting penalized so much? We must be one of the most penalized and least disciplined teams in the country. This is just poor coaching.

Just fucking pathetic and sickening.

It won’t matter. There’s a real chance we won’t win another game all year. If Brennan can’t win with this team, he might was well be fired. He’s never going to have more talent than he does right now. I’d be shocked if we make it to 4 wins.

Akina is 67. That's actually older than me but not by much. Babers is 63. I was a year retired at that age.

Ricky Hunley is 62, Chuck Cecil is 59.

Point being us boomers don't have the energy and mental capacity we did in our 40s which I think is the age when most coaches are successful.

Not sure I get hiring legacies especially when every player on the team has never seen them play or even heard of them.

NFL quality linemen that suddenly can't figure out who to block, receivers that can't get separation, receivers that aren't blocking anyone. Stupid stupid drive killing penalties. There honestly seems to be no imagination in the offense. Defensively the line doesn't seem to know what to do. Undisciplined and poorly coached is a good description

Always felt it was kind of obvious the future under Brennan consisted of Adkins at OC and Gonzales at DC. For some reason I guess Brennan felt he had to go full on Dick Tomey memberberries and hire Babers/Akina for this year. What a waste of time.
