Bal's not gonna replace Tyty. He's a decent developmental prospect, but...well, that seems more like a replacement for the roles Simpson and/or Dezonie would have had.

Well. Something has def changed. My guy who’s been on lock city for weeks is def worried. And also saw some CBS on 24/7. This one stings.

I’m not saying that’s for sure going to happen, but it’s known on the market that Arizona is looking for a starting PG and can dish out 30ish minutes per game. Some quality guy would absolutely be interested in that situation and would reach out, hell they may already have.

It's a good point. Think I'm just looking ahead to next season and not feeling super enthused about our roster situation. But I definitely hear you about the PG situation and how it shouldn't be too hard of a sell.

If he's a possibility you have to go all out for him. I thought I read somewhere before that he wanted to explore the ncaa option but the pandemic messed that plan up a bit. Would he a great pickup and we have a lot of connections to him that can help

His father also lives in San Diego I believe, so that couldn’t hurt.

It's reasonable to assume there are some players out there waiting to see what happens with Washington's decision and once that announcement is made, they'll act accordingly. If he doesn't choose Arizona -- then a player can see the PT available in Tucson and begin the process. Why jump in the transfer portal early if you aren't entirely sure the grass is indeed greener on the other side?

Haha, I was told a week after Arizona played Duquesne that their PG McConnell was a done deal to transfer to Arizona. I was told to keep it quiet all year. I will never complain about others tampering ever again.
