Yikes. That's a mid major mentality there.
Well you schmucks are averaging 7 to 8 losses per season and had 6 the year you won the NCAA tournament. Say all you want about the big 12, but our non-con slate of games might be the most difficult I've seen a high major team play in quite a while. We play 4 of the top 5 preseason ranked teams, according to Gary Parrish,(Purdue, Duke, FAU, MSU) plus Alabama, who was #1 most of the year last year, and Wisconsin. Colgate was a tournament team last year and Belmont is no slouch. We return 2 starters and our 6th man, and we have some exciting transfers, but we aren't paying 4 mil for Hunter Dickinson. So you got us there. But maybe we didn't take him cause we already ran circles around him.

I don't think it's mid major mentality, it's a reasonable person's appraisal of a difficult schedule with a group of players who mostly have had relatively little time together.
Schedule smack? Check out Kansas's schedule and I expect to win all of them because we're Kansas. You Arizona fans haven't won anything since 1997 and now have to walk in to a real conference which you will probably perennially finish 3rd or 4th behind Kansas, Baylor or Houston.

Boswell, Love, Pelle (when healthy), Johnson, Ballo, Bradley, Krivas, Lewis.

That's the set rotation. Murauskas has a chance to get some minutes as well.

Not that I mind. Would like to see him play if we need some 3’s. He can really shoot it.

Here are the 40 minute "Bird" scores (think PER) for the Arizona scholarship players based on the Red-Blue game and the two exhibitions (# games):

40.0 Oumar Ballo (2)
34.8 Caleb Love (3)
29.2 Keshad Johnson (3)
24.3 Motiejus Krivas (2)
23.2 KJ Lewis (3)
20.0 Dylan Anderson (3)
19.4 Kylan Boswell (3)
18.8 Filip Borovicanin (3)
17.3 Henri Veesaar (2)
-----> 14.0 +/- = "average" D1 player <-----
13.3 Conrad Martinez (3)
13.0 Paulius Murauskas (3)
12.9 Pelle Larsson (1)
10.2 Jaden Bradley (3)

Had some good exhibition games. Ran the court well, boxed out well, and has decent hands. Figured he would be 3rd center off the bench ahead of Veesaar.

At least Veesaar has some hope for playing time now, assuming he can avoid injuries.

How does one exactly predict the Final Four before the first game of the season? Is that guy predicting that those four teams will have just the right amount of luck and talent to maximize the seed they receive and the matchups they will be faced with in their region? Like that Arizona will be a 3 seed but seeds 1 & 2 will be vulnerable and upsets will take out dangerous 4-7 seeds early?

Or is he just pulling that out of his ass?

Jay Bilas has the UofA ranked #10. He has Duke #2. Here is what he wrote about Arizona:

No. 10. Arizona Wildcats: The Wildcats had the look of a national champion last season, winning 28 games and playing their best at the end of the season. Then, Arizona played Princeton in the NCAA tournament, and it was all over. Next, the doors opened and six players were out the door, including Azuolas Tubelis and Kerr Kriisa. But, coach Tommy Lloyd can recruit, and the transfer portal works both ways; you can bring good players in just as quickly as they can leave. Lloyd still has Oumar Ballo, Pelle Larsson and Kylan Boswell returning, and Boswell has overcome injury to put himself in position to take off as a sophomore. The portal helped bring in North Carolina transfer Caleb Love, who had 23 points in his first exhibition game as a Wildcat; Alabama transfer Jaden Bradley; and versatile San Diego State transfer Keshad Johnson. Love will not be the primary handler, but he was often better playing off the ball for the Tar Heels. He can score and play up-tempo, and Bradley can really drive the ball but had not yet figured out the shooting piece. Other key performers should be freshman wing KJ Lewis, sophomore big man Henri Veesaar, freshman big man Motiejus Krivas and sophomore big man Dylan Anderson. The Wildcats will not be quite as powerful early, but Lloyd will help them figure it out. There is really good talent there.

Especially about the bigs. Don't expect Veesaar to get more than 5-10 minutes a game assuming he can stay healthy. I think Filip B will get more minutes than Lewis too and he was not even mentioned.

I would be shocked if Filip has more minutes than Lewis. Lewis brings defensive intensity and athleticism that Filip lacks.

I hope Filip gets some minutes and is able to knockdown 3s to keep the floor spread for the guards to drive and slash.
