If Garcia couldn't get on the field at SJSU not sure what he expected at Arizona. Although he did get in one play v. ASU for some reason. Shame to burn a year here but that's just how it works.

I guess Adam Damante will be next. 4th string QB on Arizona isn't all that appealing.

If anybody wants any good news, prior to any more defections and assuming recovery from injuries, it's not the worst roster I've ever seen at Arizona. But it's a little bit like the baseball line that if your pitching staff has lots of prospects to start, you don't have any starters, due to lack of star power. Still, there appear to be reasonably appropriate bodies and no absolutely glaring holes, which would put you in a position to add transfer portal personnel for improvement, rather than to desperately plug holes.

The other side of the argument is "great, absent the one-man team named T-Mac, maybe they can go 4-8 again." No reason to think there's any chance to have a year like 2023 again any time soon. I'm betting Gonzales becomes the DC, which is a shrug. Any full-time ST coach should improve that disaster. We'll see how long it takes to integrate a new offense and how we do with injuries. I'd guess the schedule would flip regarding home versus road games. But, unless we get superstar transfers and a truly exceptional OC, it's hard to see much better than a 2-game improvement, if that.
