I'm so glad a lot of people in the AD lost their jobs and were laid off just so we could pay a search fi worthless money, pay a huge buy out for Sumlin, and just have the president's buddy get hired in an act of pure nepotism.

The last time I felt this type of rage from Arizona athletics was when the Cats lost to Wisconsin and that fucker Frank. What in the fuck?!

This is a very sad day for Wildcat football. It's not a surprise that a surgeon is an egomaniac but Robbins clearly demonstrated that he's an idiot too. Obviously he isn't just the President of the U of A, he thinks he's the emperor of Southern Arizona. He does whatever he wishes. We are doing the opposite of ASU. ASU hires a highly respected and likable NFL figure as their HC and we hire a vagabond with zero charisma. Fisch is the opposite of what Heeke said he was looking for in a new HC. If at all possible, this hire needs to be contested and Robbins fired immediately if not sooner.

The only silver lining I can see is I've been on board with every hire since Tomey and they have turned out less than optimal. I'm not on board with this one so maybe it works out. It's all I've got.

So I missed a lot of the lead up to this hiring, but Michigan fans seemed to like the guy. Not sure what to think, but reading twitter and this thread, the consensus is overwhelming.

I am done as well. It’s obvious Robbins also doesn’t understand the fans and just thinks we will come back if they win. Fuck him and fuck football.

I have been following UA football since I was a freshman in 1981. I was excited for the Sumlin hire, the Stoops hire, the RichRod hire, and even the Mackovic hire (COY in 3 difference conferences) and now I am just done with it all. Don't even care any more.

One good thing, I can now save money on starting up Sling TV later, which I have been doing lately anyway the last couple of years due to the disaster of Sumlin football.
