But fortunately 7pm out in Cali!

I remember the beatdown they took against Oregon State in 2000. That game was COLD. I was wearing a heavy jacket and I still froze like crazy. This game won't be nearly as chilly, probably mid to high 50s by end of game.ASUHATER! wrote:I can't remember when the last time was we had a late night game in mid to late November. Not often it's actually cold at Arizona stadium but it'll probably be in the 40s for the second half.
November 11, 2000...33-9 beatdown. 56 degrees for the high.azpenguin wrote:I remember the beatdown they took against Oregon State in 2000. That game was COLD. Home attendance has been more consistently impressive than the team's play this season.PHXCATS wrote:First it is too hot now it will be too cold.
First it was too early now it will be too late.
No wonder Rich Rod has one foot out the door.
If you build it, they will come... Rain or shine, hot or cold. Not the other way around.PHXCATS wrote:First it is too hot now it will be too cold.

RichRod has had Utah's number and the Utes are coming to town as a top ten team with a shot at the playoff at stake. Team with a title shot in Tucson in November...ASUHATER! wrote:Bowling now depends on a win this next two weeks. Looking iffy.
My hunch is that if they return its for ASu.azpenguin wrote:Also, let's see if Scooby or Turituri is back this week or next. I doubt it but that's a wildcard.
If ASU loses to BOTH the Cats and Dawgs, THEN they will have a losing season, win 1 and they have a shot at .500 by beating Cal in 3 weeks.azpenguin wrote:RichRod has had Utah's number and the Utes are coming to town as a top ten team with a shot at the playoff at stake. Also, ASU is 4-5 and they just got their heads handed to them by the Cougs. They get UW next so they're going to get physically beat up at least as much as Arizona against the Utes. If either UW or the Cats beat them they've got a losing season. UW is definitely capable of beating them. If they do then Arizona is going to be fired up at the chance at sticking ASU with a 4 win season and keeping them out of a bowl (there's probably going to be some 5-7 teams in bowls this year.) Arizona has their work cut out for them, to be sure, but they've still got a bowl bid in front of them and a chance to hurt ASU in front of them as well.
Hell, I forgot about them having Cal late. Oh yes. They had a bye week. Well, Arizona's is coming up after two more games...Harvey Specter wrote:If ASU loses to BOTH the Cats and Dawgs, THEN they will have a losing season, win 1 and they have a shot at .500 by beating Cal in 3 weeks.azpenguin wrote:RichRod has had Utah's number and the Utes are coming to town as a top ten team with a shot at the playoff at stake. For the 2nd straight year this game is going to be HUGE with 2 pretty evenly matched teams. Not nearly as positive circumstances this year (compared to last), but this will be big. Where last year was euphoria and a prize for the winner... This year will likely be anguish and no post-season play for the loser.
That a boy Newport I am proud of you!!!Newportcat wrote:I am much more optimistic we get another win this season then I was as of yesterday morning
Not sure if it's against Utah but we do always play well at home in November against ranked teams when they have everything to lose
We also looked much much better against USC then I thought they would. Finally hit the opposing QB and offense looked good enough to get another win. Last night we played up to outlet max potential given the guys we were missing.
Also ASU is a dumpster fire right now and they are for sure beatable
Who knows its still Arizona football but the team played hard last night which is all you can ask for
Wholeheartedly and completely agree... I was very proud of the Cats last night.Newportcat wrote:I am much more optimistic we get another win this season then I was as of yesterday morning

I'm actually hoping the T-Cup is a night game. Night games have so much more energy than day games, its a whole 'nother atmosphere. I wish all big games were night games.azpenguin wrote:Looking at the weather, I'm guessing lower 60s to upper 50s for the late game temps.
Arizona has played ten games this year. One 5 pm start and two 1:30 pm starts. Everything else has been 7 or later. I don't mind some night games but this is ridiculous. With both teams' records and nothing big at stake I wouldn't be surprised if the Territorial Cup joins the #pac12afterdark listings as well.
It had an awesome atmosphere, in spite of the day time kickoff.3goggles wrote:I disagree last years tcup had an awesome atmosphere
Wonder if that means Vegas expects Wilson back next week. That's not a big spread.azgreg wrote:Utah opens as 4.5 point favorite.
The list that comes out on Thursday is the one that counts.Merkin wrote:Looks like Wilson is now questionable for Utah:
11/08/15 OL Freddie Tagaloa Knee "?" Saturday vs. Utah
11/08/15 OL Jacob Alsadek Concussion "?" Saturday vs. Utah
11/08/15 RB Nick Wilson Foot "?" Saturday vs. Utah
In his presser today RR stated that the injury situation is the same as last week.azpenguin wrote:The list that comes out on Thursday is the one that counts.Merkin wrote:Looks like Wilson is now questionable for Utah:

overlaps with the presidential debate. larryyy!!Merkin wrote:But fortunately 7pm out in Cali!
Maybe they'll try to psych us out again by warming up with no shirts, worked out well last time.azpenguin wrote:Looking at the weather, I'm guessing lower 60s to upper 50s for the late game temps.
Hard edge is back, love it! I don't know if the cameras caught it, but when Skowran went head to toe with a guy that had 2' and easily 100lbs on him the bench erupted, our sideline acted like he hit the game winning FG.....azpenguin wrote:Anyone watch Will Parks in the presser today? Dude is pretty much a recruiting pitch for Arizona football now. These guys are ready to come out swinging.
Good to hear... Do you have a link?azpenguin wrote:Anyone watch Will Parks in the presser today? Dude is pretty much a recruiting pitch for Arizona football now. These guys are ready to come out swinging.
I can't find a link to the video, but here's the transcript: http://www.arizonawildcats.com/ViewArti ... =210484190" target="_blankwyo-cat wrote:Good to hear... I didn't see it but hopefully there's a vid of it. Skowron has had his ups and downs with the FGs but he is one fearless, tough sumbitch. When he makes tackles on kickoffs he tries to destroy guys.Sid wrote:Hard edge is back, love it! It was glorious!
I like your optimism. Would set the south up nicely so that the SC-UCLA game has big stakes. (Unless that was your final score predictionazcat49 wrote:7-5
I will be ecstatic if that happens. At this point, I'd be thrilled with 6-6 including a victory in Tempe.azcat49 wrote:7-5
