Aragon is a 6'5", 211, redshirt Freshman punter from Cienega HS, Tucson. He was a 2 time All-State punter as well as an All-Section wide receiver as a senior. Aragon holds his school's record for longest punt at 71 yards. He averaged 44 yards a punt as a high school Junior and 34.3 as a Senior. The punting position is wide open so Aragon has a shot, but when I watched special teams in the spring he had a strong leg, but was the most inconsistent of our punters.

I said he wasn't invited to fall camp. As of two months ago, I heard that he wasn't. I'm guessing that staff changed their minds at some point. When you're thin at ST, you have to keep some options open. I hope that Matt brings his A game because he'll need to.
