69 Days Coach AJ Steward
Steward is Arizona's new running backs coach. He spent the last 2 years at BYU and the 4 years prior at Rice always as the RB coach. He played football at Kansas where Steward was recruited as a QB, but ended up playing receiver and tight end while being a 4 year member of the AD's honor roll.
He is the 4th RB coach at Arizona in as many years, but Steward does inherit a deep experienced group with new talent also arriving. Michael Lev, Daily Star has a comprehensive interview with Steward from earlier in the month. Steward is young, enthusiastic, and looks like he could be a good field coach and recruiter. Below is Steward miked up from a BYU practice last summer.
