criminal phishing scam. You'll get a text saying that your cirrus(master card) was breached and call back. When you call the automated number they will ask for your social security number and follow-up with your 16 digit card number.
Got it when I was busy at work, didn't have time to google the number, gave my social, but hung up after when I realized I don't bank with BofA (didn't hear that the first time due to poor reception).
I have the credit fraud alerts with the three credit agencies and filed a police report. Any other steps that I should take?
Now I have something in common with little old ladies in Fort Lauderdale.

Run periodic credit checks. People can sign up for new cards, etc., and the sooner you catch, the easier it is.
Also, with the police, consider a federal agency if you didn't already. Most of this is interstate or inter country.

Everyone should have a 90-day credit warning on his SSN. I have one constantly--when the 90 days is up, I renew it. A permanent (or at least longer-term) warning requires a police report, but there is nothing stopping you from continuously renewing the 90-day one as soon as it expires.

So, I'm a tad perplexed by the choices of our recent spammer. Not once have I thought while browsing here that I'd like to mix my Arizona basketball discussion with masturbating to videos of pregnant little people circumscising a donkey with a chainsaw.
It seems like an odd choice for a spammer, but hey, I probably should be telling someone else their profession.
