2023 Survival Pool week 1

Rules:

1) Pick 1 FBS team per week.
2) Select teams from games this week (as defined by the NCAA website).
3) That team must be UNDEFEATED.
4) Once you pick a team, you can't pick them again.
5) You must post your pick before your selection kicks off.
6) Miss a pick either by your pick losing, picking a team not playing, picking a team again, or failing to post a pick you're out.
7) The pick must be in the thread for this week.
8) Use a hottie picture to make your pick. (optional)
9) Any disputes will be solved by a vote of the posters still alive.
10) If there's a tie at the end of the game the tie breaker will be decided by best pics as voted by those playing the game.

2. I recommend removing rules 8 and 10. It keeps it simple and saves us time. If there's a tie at the end, declare them co-champions.

I am good with voiding #10

A few years ago, I was tied for first at the end of the season. I dont like this tiebreaker rule. I think we can come up with a better one, like using the total score(s) of a bowl game or two.

We used to pick the winners of all the NY6 games. One year Irish27 and I tied by nailing every week, every NY6 game, but he won on "total points in all bowl games" 2nd tiebreaker. It sucked.
