I spent $100 on mine . . . and no. You don't need one. My driveway is about 120' long, 100' wide, with a 10% incline. If I didn't have a snowblower, "me time" would include regular trips to the ER for heart attack/stroke symptoms. Did I just read those dimensions correctly? That's a big ass driveway
