Just like in 1997 - the overtime game in Elite 8 against pesky Providence where it took overtime for the #4 seed Cats to win...Certainly not our best game in that tournament... where, by the way, we handled three #1 seeds en route to the title (I think the only time ever done?)

So Chris Mack had a post game quote about the world seeing that they were the tougher team:

Not sure of the severity - but as he grabbed that rebound in last minute and I was screaming with joy...I thought to myself - "I think maybe the knee is OK!"

Utah fans will arrive...late game tomorrow and prolly some that want to avoid another hotel night since game is relatively late tomorrow - but I think they will have some folks there...a lot driving in...probably the second most fans after Arizona Sea of Red.

Keep the beers cold and the tables hot! More of the Arizona army inbound today...I can't get any work done at this office - just thinking about getting on a plane later today and getting to Vegas!

Last year we came up with a method for getting past the metal detectors and easy entry with some whiskey...go to the convenience store on the strip and buy the little disposable soft pouch margarita bags from the cooler...drink the margarita and keep the screw cap and pouch...refill said bag with ...

The wife and I will be there for our third straight year. Last year we did a ton of drinking at Pub 1842 with some cool Colorado Bros and, on another occasion, 97Cats and his boys. It's right next to the arena and has a great beer selection. Great pre-game place.

Another important note for Cat fans entering the arena...we learned last year that you can take in one (1) drink in plastic/disposable cup as you enter the arena...an important note as the cocktails inside are stout from a pricing standpoint - but going in with a 32 ounce mixed drink seems to make ...

I was out last year and went with no tix in hand. Was able to buy from people there and the back up is the stub hub ticket store that they have about a mile or so from the MGM (it is back behind Ceasars)...Ended up paying anywhere from $50 to $125 for tickets to each game...all were in the lower ...
