My New Nutrition Blog

Post by Folesfor10K »

Hey Guys,

I pretty much stick to reading and posting in the recruits/commitment threads in the football forum but thought this would be a good place to share a project that I've been working on for quite a while now and just recently launched. If you're interested in nutrition or weight loss at all you may find it entertaining. I have some well thought and researched views that you don't hear everyday and may be a bit controversial. For instance I will be making an argument about why fast food is healthy while fruits and vegetables are not. Why overweight people actually have FAST metabolisms, and why cardio workouts may not be that great for losing weight.

It's a blog in name but it really is more like an E-Book. I've already written 52 entries and will be releasing one "Chapter" each week for the next year. Anyway if this kind of thing might interest you at all please check it out. You can subscribe with your email or "like" the page on Facebook to get the weekly post updates. Let me know what you think...Unless you hate it, then keep it to yourself ;)

The Weight Equation
Why is fast food healthy? Why do skinny people have SLOW metabolisms? Check out my nutrition blog for a fresh, new perspective on nutrition.

My two favorite teams:
1. U of A
2. Whoever plays ASU this week

Thanks! So about fast food being healthier than the food you prepare at home.... This is something you'll address later and haven't posted about yet, right?

Russell up some Recovery Water! Better mixture of H20.

But you don't need 8 glasses a day.

Water is present in fruits and vegetables. It’s in juice, it’s in beer, it’s even in tea and coffee. Before anyone writes me to tell me that coffee is going to dehydrate you, research shows that’s not true either.
This goes for "hydrating", too, which is the same as drinking.
Right where I want to be.

He ended his career the same way it started: trying to get into smaller pants.

That's awesome! Keep it up...sounds like you're creating that calorie deficit which is all you need! Obviously you're approach is kind of the common advice and it's definitely solid, I'm just hoping to give some fresher ideas that some people might be able to use to keep a calorie deficit for themselves that have had trouble with the traditional route in the past. Thanks for checking it out.

Thank YOU for checking it out! And yes, you got it...The entries are all written but I'm only going to post them one per week for a year. The more "controversial" ones like the fast food post will be posted after I layout the basic nutrition principles so I can reference the basics later on. The fat food post will be posted on Week 30(February 28th)
