Bacon
And I though the bacon meme was worn out.

VERNAL, Utah (AP) — A Utah woman accused of using a pound of bacon to start a fire in her ex-boyfriend's house will stand trial on arson charges.
Police say Cameo Adawn Crispi, 32, repeatedly called and texted her former flame from his home in March, where she left the bacon over a lit burner.
The Deseret News reports (http://bit.ly/VR1bDA ) the man wasn't home and called police saying he wanted Crispi out of his house. Officers arrived and saw smoke flowing out the front door. Inside, they found hot coals on the floor around an open wood stove and the burned bacon.
Charging documents say Crispi's blood-alcohol level was 0.346, four times the legal limit.
Crispi is due back in court in October to face arson, burglary and other charges.
Crispi or chewi?

World Health Organization: Processed Meats Cause Cancer
Very sad news for bacon lovers.
The World Health Organization announced Monday that cured and processed meats like bacon, sausage, hot dogs and ham cause cancer, adding the foods to a top-tier list of carcinogenic substances that includes alcohol, cigarettes, asbestos, and arsenic.
Processed meats can be bundled with these threatening carcinogens because of their link with bowel cancer, according to a report from WHO's International Agency for Research on Cancer, though their inclusion doesn't mean that bacon causes cancer at the same rate as, say, smoking.

Still gonna eat bacon. I've never smoked and don't drink nearly as much anymore so bacon has to be the least problematic right?
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

Haven't had any bacon in weeks. All this talk of bacon and cancer got me craving some bigtime. At a pound of bacon between dinner last night and breakfast this morning. Heavenly.

Media hype and misinterpretation. I shall continue to eat bacon until the day I die if I can still chew then.

In light of the new health scare, I did not add extra bacon to my bacon breakfast burrito this morning.

Just ate there this morning. I had been there previously with my wife and she wanted to do this sampler thing.scumdevils86 wrote:I heard a lot of "bleh" reviews and feedback about that place.
I just got several pieces of applewood bacon done crispy and it was noticeably good. I don't usually think many things stand out taste-wise.
You can take that for what its worth.
The 2 times I was there, it has been fairly crowded.

Well bacon really isn't at risk to have hair and toenails in it as it is still one piece of meat.

My tastebuds have changed over the past 6mo...
I don’t like bacon anymore. Like I don’t find it tasty or delicious and pass when it is offered at restaurants. I just don’t want it.
And yes I am saddened by this.
