Guess you have to be old(er) to appreciate Sharon Stone, that scene does nothing for me. It's very tame by today's standards and sure Gretzky isn't perfect but better then Stone.

You have to like women to appreciate Sharon Stone.

The reason that scene seems "tame" by today's standards (it really isn't tame, but that's another argument) is because it was in a movie 25 years ago, was a trend-setting scene and was truly controversial at the time because it was pushing the boundaries of that time. The more graphic nudity and content now readily available in movies is largely due to that very scene, and as such most of us are jaded to the impact of that very scene as well as that type of nudity. Doesn't seem like a big deal now, but it really was then.

I like Paulina Gretzky, voted "Hot" on both, but IMO the result of this vote was predictable and is entirely justified.

That's my point, you had to be around at that time to appreciate it, I was a little kid then. I watched it later and didn't have the same impact, I was already desensitized to it.

Appreciating the history should allow one to overcome being jaded or "desensitized" though ... Besides, that's just one (very influential mind you) movie scene, that's not the only reason she's hot, and her "body" of work is more impressive and goes beyond just that "moment" ... you don't have to be a geezer or a contemporary of theirs to appreciate Esther Williams or Sophia Loren or Marilyn Monroe ... You think Paulina Gretzky is hotter, fine, different strokes, I'm just not buying any of the other justifications you offer up for why Sharon Stone is somehow not hot, less hot, or otherwise diminished.

I'm interested, when you say better than Stone....what criteria are you using? Prime hotness? Current level of hotness (and lets face it, Stone is in her mid 50s now)? or what?

Cause, no offense to ms gretzky, but if comparing prime to prime, to me there's no way gretzky's face can ever match up to stone's.
