The Wife and I got each other the same thing (home sound system), but the one I got was better so she's taking mine back and I apparently get nothing.

Received the best holiday present in years, a call from my sister. We sat for dinner after being out shopping and I asked my kids and my wife for the odds on my sister calling. I had not spoken with her in 10 years( I would always call her and leave meassages) and she is my only family member left (both parents and my other sister gone and this sister is 10 years older then me). We said the odds would be 500,000-1 she would call.

We finished dinner and sat down to share stories and open a gift each when my phone rang. I looked at the area code and it was from Texas where my sister lives and I thought, could it be. Low and behold it was and we spoke for 20 minutes and made plans to see each other.

Somany times the best gift isn't bought or is complex. Sometimes is the simple gift of showing love and of caring. It made my holiday that's for sure

Dude, that's awesome. Got to spend a Christmas with my sister for the first time in 15+ years. For that reason alone this was one of my best holidays.

I had a lovely google video chat with my family back in Australia while doing my time here in the warm and scenic eastern province of Saudi Arabia! Yay, I got to listen to some dude wailing about Allah over the ubiquitous loudspeakers around town on Christmas Day.

As you can see, I've declared war on Christmas.
