Anyone know anyone or have any recommendations?

I guess one option, if you already haven't done it, is to get involved with a dog rescue organization like Tucson Cold Wet Noses or Smiling Dog Rescue. You give your time, foster if desirable, and then your dogs have multiple homes with real dog people at your service whenever you need. I don't know any details because I could never get involved because of severe dog allergies.
