Weird that we didn't have a thread for this, but reports are coming out that one of the escapees, Richard Matt, was killed in a shootout today near Malone, NY.

Such a crazy story. They should make a TV series about it...err...

Border Patrol found them about 40 miles from the prison. They tried to car jack someone I guess. Other guy still not in custody

Reports are that he's in sight of the cops and running.

Too bad they are despicable men. Otherwise it would be kind of cool to see them get away.

The people that helped them escape better be praying that no one besides the prisoners gets killed or hurt.

I was in the Northeast last week, and my son and I spent a night in Plattsburgh, NY, which is in the general area, after a day trip to Montreal last Thursday.
My wife is still freaked out that we stayed there.

It's like swimming in the ocean with a great white shark within 10 feet of you, watching you and thinking about it. Which, by the way, has probably happened to you several more times than you think. Except that in the case of your visit to Plattsburgh, this time you knew the shark was there.
