I'm in the market for a small (MP3 size) AM radio. Anybody have any suggestions?

I like to listen to the radio. Sorry to be old. I won't let it happen again.

This is the way to go if you want to hear local AM stations. The internet isn't a solution, and it has nothing to do with how fast your service is. There's buffering problems. And otherwise, every time you leave the room, you can't respond to the annoying, "Are you still listening?" -- at which point it's over. My parrot enjoys the radio when he's left alone while I'm off doing whatever. Every time I come home, it's gone silent because he didn't click "yes" when asked if he's still listening. If he could do that, he'd get distracted by the more entertaining opportunity to unscrew the casing with his beak and dismantle the motherboard.

I think you meant 1968.

Always had one with me to listen to the Tigers, and when no baseball Keener 14 top 40 AM radio.

Could not believe the difference when radio stations went to FM.

Talk about misheard lyrics.

I used to take mine to bed with me to listen to the Bucks games; especially the year Lew Alcindor (er, Kareem) and Oscar Robertson got the Bucks their only championship..

I had small transistor radios back in the 1970s.
