Yahoo Sports now reporting Paul has been symptom-free the whole time, so it looks like he's returning real soon.

I think he has to test negative 2 days in a row to be cleared

Maybe they'll both be back at the same time, which would be awesome.

I'm predicting the Clippers take game 2. They looked really gassed late in the fourth quarter even while they were making the comeback. TL said they'll pull back their D on Booker, since he easily tore past their extended defense and got to his open spots at the elbows. If the Clippers don't have an off night behind the arc, I think they'll even the series.

Paul George is going to have an off night in game 2

Suns go to LA up 2-0

Sam Quinn at CBS Sports agrees with you. I don't bet, but his record on picks is stellar.

But how does this makes sense?
If the Clippers were going to get the Suns on the road, it seems like it had to happen in Game 1, when Phoenix was presumably rusty and the Clippers were riding high off the momentum of the Utah series. Now the exhausted Clippers have to turn around and play again in two days, and it's unlikely that they make 20 3-pointers again in Game 2 especially after DeAndre Ayton forced them to play bigger than they would've liked in Game 1. The Suns controlled the terms of engagement. They're the fresher team. They are worthy favorites here. The pick: Suns -5.
Wouldn't the Clippers be much better rested now than they were after rushing to Phoenix for a game 17 hours after finishing off Utah? And I realize the Suns are locked in on defending the corner 3's tonight, but wasn't George knocking down contested, step-back 3's all game long? Isn't high percentage on high volume 3-pointers who the Clippers are? Or am I just feeling that bias born of the WCF being the inevitable time to hip-check the Suns into the scorer's table?

It does seem that in these best of 7 series that when a road team breaks through it’s the second game or two road games.

The Suns just seem like they are on a mission. They are playing hard and with great confidence. This simply might be their year and I agree, they go up 2-0 tonight

It seems like everyone in the sports media is picking the Suns in the WCF, and then the Bucks to beat the Suns, which I really don't get. One expert said because the Bucks are healthier than the Suns, which is news to me.

Like everybody that has to play the bucks, how to you defend Giannis when he faces up and goes off the bounce. Is Ayton good enough laterally? Probably not.

This is the16th time a team had a 8 or more game win streak during the same playoffs. 9 of the previous 15 teams went on to win the championship.

Crowder guards Giannis while Lopez is on the court, which is all the time, right?

Ayton just outplayed Anthony Davis (when he was healthy) and he played great vs. Jokic.

Booker and CP3 are getting all the attention, but Ayton is emerging as a Superstar during these playoffs.

Don't underestimate him.

I agree. So does Jokic, Shaq, and Bill Russell. Ayton may be a gentle, nice person, but you don't want that guy on the other team. He'll force you to change your game, and demoralize the opponents and their fans in the process.

Oh I agree Ayton has really played well but Giannis is a tough matchup when he puts it on the deck. Much better IMO than Jokic off the dribble. The nets had no answer for him in that second half after he stopped launching 3 pointers and just went to work attacking the basket. Of course maybe the Bucks don't get by Atlanta so who knows what the match up might be.

I think Crowder, backed by Craig, guards Giannis. It's a good defensive match-up. Lopez will struggle with Ayton.

Who can stop / guard Giannis?

Answer me this... Who the fuck can stop/guard Booker?

Add in CP3 and Booker... who was a top 3 that can compete with these 3?

I'm really tired of hearing how the Suns don't much up well with Team X, or how this Suns player doesn't much up well with Player Y.

And don't you kinda think that Crowder is the mallet that bangs it all into place? Even during that stretch of 0-fer shooting during round 1, Crowder was that hammer. And Bridges is such the prototypical championship role-playing wing, whose mixed ingredients include doses of Michael Cooper and James Worthy. It's a championship starting 5. And Monty certainly would out-coach Budenholzer.

Agree on Crowder and Bridges... not to mention the 2 Cam's who are playing great especially Payne who has been playing great thrown into the starting lineup with CP3's issues.

Our top 7 is incredible
