It's almost like...

1. Having Cuonzo as your coach

2. Expecting all your returning players from a crappy team to suddenly form a solid base and

3. Expecting two freshman to take you all they way

...wasn't a very good recipe for success.

Yep. Once Rabb and Brown and Wallace leave...Cal will be bad again. Their 2016 class won't be nearly as good

Here's how I think the Pac standings end up:

1. Oregon*
2. AZ*
3. USC*
4. Utah*
5. Colorado*
6. UW*
7. Cal*
8. UCLA
9. ASU
10. Stanford#
11. OSU
12. WSU

* NCAA tournament team
# Will they ever fire their coach?

I'm beginning to think that the UW-ASU game may never end with all the fouls being called and monitor reviews.

I seem to remember Simon didn't want to play with him and staff liked Trier better. Plus he said
he wanted to be a PG, but seems to have accepted an off the ball role at Oregon.

Oregon is a good team; Colorado is a fraud. Oregon isn't a defensive powerhouse, but Colorado might end the first half with less than 20 points.

I only get the P12N national feed, so naturally I can't watch the USC/UCLA game they've been hyping for days.

I don't believe the end of the OSU/Utah game. Utah just made two free throws to be up by 1, OSU has two seconds left and Taylor fouls a guy trying to make a half court shot with 0.1 seconds left. All three free throws are made and OSU wins. Crazy.

That Oregon PG, someone said he turns the ball over once every 47 minutes? That is unreal. They also had another guy who transfered in from Nova I think that is out for the season.

Might have to put Altman in the recruiting witch category as well

Altman's teams are largely built on transfers and he is a guy who will take anyone no matter what their problems are. Oh Wake Forest, you let go of a guy who beat the piss out of his baby's mom in front of the 1-year-old baby and cracked her spine? Thank you. Oh, you're pending a sexual assault investigation over there? We'll take you, no worries. And if you do it again, we will even sweep it under the rug for you.

He's a really good coach but he is a slimeball. You take into account where he coaches too, yeah, not sure he is even close to a witch.

Utah is down to Oregon at halftime. As the season wears on, it looks increasingly likely that Ducks are on their way to the conference crown.

Good gawd, Oregon is number three in the RPI. Are they a Final Four contender?

#11 in KenPom. #21 in Sagarin. (Arizona is #13 in both)

I know it's super bowl Sunday, but you'd think that place would be a bit more full. OSU has things rocking and they're in the bottom half of the conference.

With the win over Utah, the conference is Oregon's unless some like 3-4 collapse to finish happens.

Arizona SHOULD win out.
Oregon has a couple of tough games they could lose.
USC has at least 2 more losses.
Washington will be lucky to win 3 of four - they're out as far as I'm concerned.

There could easily be a three way tie at the top, with Oregon owning the tie breaker over Arizona (and probably USC).

I agree that the best player on the best team should win it and that is why TJ was POY last year. Oh wait :o
