I kid you not, this is a post from an asu fan on their USC game thread:

No energy from the crowd at all. Must be following the academy awards on their phones.

UCLA and USC are their rivals?

Looks like USC is going to choke this away.

Oregon beats cal on the road. Getting to be on the right side of the bubble.

I think that probably does it for Oregon, based on what their season end should look like (I see them splitting the remaining games at Stanford and OSU). 11-5 in conference, likely finish is 12-6 in conference, 3rd place, RPI in the 40s. That'd see them going into Vegas at 22-9. Two games in Vegas would have them at 9-3 or 10-2 in their last 12 (playing two gets their loss to us removed from final 12). Three of their top 50 RPI losses were against top 12 teams (2X Arizona, VCU pre-injury).

UCLA, similarly, looks in good position. Their record is not as impressive at 17-12, but it is against a top 15 national SOS. They have dogshit remaining games that won't help boost their 40-something RPI, but they should be easy wins (WSU, USC). So they should go to Vegas as a 4 seed, one win from 20, 11-7 in confreence, 8-4 in last 12 with road losses to the Arizonas. 20 wins, 40-something RPI, top 15 schedule.

Stanford has a lot of work to do/potential to surprise. With both the Oregons and the Arizonas to go, Stanford has the most potential to do damage repair. They are down in the mid 50s RPI, but with the opponents to jump quite a bit with some wins. Stanford needs 3 wins in their final regular season games to finish the year with 20 wins pre-Vegas, and with their RPI and SOS, I think they have to go 3-1 at a minimum to be in the mix at all. This is the only real path to a 5th PAC 12 team, though...A strong finish with a win over an Arizona or Utah could get the Trees back in the mix.

If things go as I am projecting, Oregon gets in as a 10 or 11 seed and gets out of that play-in game, UCLA is a last 4 in and playing in Dayton in a 12/12 match up, and Stanford finishes the season 1-3 with losses to Oregon, Arizona and one of the States and prepares for the NIT as a 2 or 3 seed.

--(NCAA)--
Arizona 15-3
Utah 14-4
Oregon 12-6
UCLA 11-7
---(NIT)---
Stanford 9-9
Oregon St 9-9
ASU 8-10

Solid post EV, Oregon is definitely the #3 team going into the Conf Tourney. Nothing against Sean or Krystkowiak but Altman would get my vote for Pac 12 coach of the year, especially considering the awful offseason Oregon had, the roster turnover, and the improvement as the season went along. And let's not forget this'll be the Ducks third straight Tourney bid. I expected the Ducks to tank this season.

Anyone watching Oregon/Furd. Furd is playing for its tourney life tonight. They need to win tonight and beat ASSU along with 1 win in the tourney minimum. Still might not be enough.

UCLA plays next and has to win that game and beat USC and I think they are in as long as they win 1 gane in the tourney.

finally there is ASSU and CU. Can Boyle get his team to respond from Thursday. If they can't beat ASSU thongs are really bad In Boulder. ASSU if they win 1 more game will stay out of the Wednesday night game in Vegas. It would lock California in as our opponent

yeah lose this and i think stanford is out unless they beat us next week and/or win the pac 12 tourney.

if they lose this game and to us next saturday then they only get in by winning the pac 12 tourney.

look out 'tah....one stumble on the Washington roadie, just one stumble, and Oregon isn't just a single digit seed in the NCAAs, but might just be wearing home unis in a 1st round game as the #2 seed of the PAC 12.
