The second half has been a dunk fest. Arizona would make either look like a high school team.

Ole Miss just dropped 62 in the second half. That's a great start to the tourney.

Me too...I hate that First Four BS......especially since it's on that crappy TruTV. Would love to see the Toruney go back to the original 64, but I doubt it....if anything, I could see them expanding it for the extra money somewhere down the road. :-(

I doubt it ever goes to 96, but I could see it expanding to 80 teams with the top 4 seeds in each region getting a first round bye.

I would seriously hate that. Not much difference between the 4th and 5th ranked team now as the worst 1 seed or best 2nd seed, but you make the 5th ranked team play an extra game you are going to hear all kinds of complaining from not die hard fans.

You think people hate the NCAA and Duke now.

300-1 odds, and even then I don't think Hampton is going to get many takers.

Know its the NIT and saying something about the score could jinx it for the team ahead but in this case I doubt anyone would feel bad but ASSU is beating UConn at half by 13. Sounds alot like the USC game

Dayton undefeated at home this season!

Lets go Flyers!

All my tv is online this year... the marchmadnesslive feed seems to be as good as any. I wonder if they will open if up for multiple games at the same time. So far it doesnt look like it.

Quite a story for the Flyers this year. 6 on scholarship and Sibert (5 point already) unable to use his shooting hand in practice or warmups! Oh, and their pg is on the bench with 2 fouls from 5 minutes in!

These are play in games.

I am not sure that is accurate, at least by wikipedia. It says the play in game ended after 2011 when they expanded the field to 68. It says this is the first round and tomorrow starts the second round and these teams are all considered tourney participants.

Not a big deal either way but I wonder if there is some official designation about these 4 games

Leon Rice is on the path to big things. He pulled a kid out of Bishop O'Dowd that is going to be a good one in Paris Austin

It's semantics. They are in and these 4 games are considered the 1st round.... but they are play in games. But everybody considers tomorrow the 1st day of the tourney.

I don't believe it's play-in, at least like before. Sure these are play in games to fill the big schools, but because of the old designation where terrible auto-qualifers werent considered tourney teams. I think now the old first round is now considered the second round. Under the old format of the play in game for 65, they were considered play in and the round of 64 was considered the first round. Now the "play-in" game is considered the first round. Basically what you just said.

But look at who you are arguing with about something like semantics. Good Luck with that...lol

Call these the "First Four" Everyone will call tomorrow the first round, second round etc in my book!

Wow that was some gritty basketball. These games have all been incredible. I was so loud here at home. I wonder how I will be at the club tomorrow am!
