So, considering SDD's defense of the Texas A&M blowout, how OK is it to use the "This game was tied with less than 8 minutes to play" criticism?

If this is the best ASU team, the head coach must suck.

Conference play starts this week, at least for Furd and USC. USC goes to ASSU after this week and might jump out to a quick 2-0 start. They open as an 8 point favorite and I like them to cover that number

Cal goes to Texas as a favorite and I think they will be very impressive in beating Texas. What has happened to Texas football

I would say either people realized there's more than one team in Texas, or Texas decided to focus on their "brand" instead of actually being a competitive football team.

Well if Goff is supposed to be the preseason hyped #1 QB in the draft, they sure as shit better beat a terrible Texas team.

New Mexico is Idaho bad. ASU has 2 yards of offense in a tie game.

Why did the UNM coach change the offense after it was working? That was silly.

First and goal at the 1/2 yard line due to a bullshit spot and hurrying up to stop a replay, and then ASU has to settle for a field goal.

you mean just counting the plays? Cause the only way to overturn it would be to change the down/spot on that run to the 1/2 yard line.

Yep - I think they were making sure they weren't making a fifth down mistake like that Colorado - Missouri game back in the '90s.

That last drive had Berco looking like prime TK out there, minus the rushing. All completions to either quick outs or flares from the backfield with lots of YAC.

So ASU in Graham's 4th season is about as good as Tulsa is in their 5th after his departure. Impressive...

The sundevils would have a great matchup with Florida Atlantic... So long as they got them at home.

PS - Glen Parker is, and always has been, a moron.
