Unreal. She's been at the Republic in Phoenix quite a long time and she still hasn't written anything memorable. It's a joke she's even considered for this position. I know she teaches at asu but this is a great honor for her and for women and I think this helps U of A and the PAC-12.
The last time I met her was at an alumni event for U of A here in Phoenix. Talked to her for about 5-10 minutes and she full on owned her mistake about the gap closing article she wrote. Just flat out said she was wrong and embarrassed by it. Props to her for owning it.

Odd ball teacher Mary Lynn LaTourneau went to that teachers college (who started an affair with a 12 year old). She is still married to the kid (although he filed for a separation as he is 34 and she is late 50's now) and they hosted a radio show (you can't make this up), "hot for teacher"
