I hear ya Newport, I love the UA too, but this is just sad. Like there is literally nothing positive to post about right now, except Nick Wilson's kinda good. Just would love for us to make a leap sometime, but the frustrating thing is the reality sinks in how hard it is to make that leap.

Next year we literally lose 2 people. Maybe Scooby even stays. Who knows. This year is rough but it happens.

And I am sorry to all of you for the defensive scheme LOL. It sucks

Oh well, hopefully Anu is back next week and we see something rare, a defensive stop.

Just hard because I have so much passion for the U of A, our athletics programs etc. it's in my blood and honestly I just hate seeing us being bad and feel like so many people try and come up with reasons or excuses why it's different now when it never is.
I will try and be better as I know everyone is frustrated and none of us want this for our program.

Just fucking sucks having to be so negative but I just can't be positive about the program, to many bad memories like tonight. They used to call me Johnny optimist for those that can remember that far back on goazcats

My apologies to anyone here I pissed you off, I sincerely mean that, will try and just lay off it a little
I get where you're coming from, and I don't mean to come off as a dick. We all love this program and are frustrated by what we're seeing. Sadly as Wildcat fans there's little we can do but hope things get better at this point. And I totally agree there's just nothing to be positive about so far this season. This team has just been flat outplayed and outcoached in our first 2 conference games, and the coaches have done little to prepare the team for our injuries, which surely they knew were gonna come with no bye week.

Yeah the bluebloods are as such for a reason. Shit, even Texas will bounce back into national prominence, and even Florida is starting to look good again. The only one i really doubt is Miami since the only reason they won was because they paid their players.

Its unbelievably hard to break into that top tier of elite programs, who knows if Arizona could ever make it there.

Yeah and these forums have been anything but civil the past couple weeks. Shouldn't be taking our frustrations about our current situation out on each other.

The truth is, we're in year four for Casteel's defense and recruiting. Over the long haul I don't think this scheme is going to work in the PAC 12.

This scheme needs spectacular players to make it work, we don't get spectacular players.

Texas will be fine, too much in state talent not to be though it is tougher now with Baylor and TCU good. Baylor made the Leap which shocks me but have a lot of shiny new facilities

I would love to break the top tier but honestly just give me one rose bowl or one year when being negative doesnt prove to be right and I get ridiculed on this board for being a Debbie downer and I have to own up and say you are right guys. Thought last year was that year until PAC 12 championship game.

I saw him in the NAU game. He didn't look like he was in game shape. That knee injury he suffered in HS may have shot any chance he has at a decent career.

Yeah I think if there was any opportunity for Sharif this year he probably would have been the starter. I'm assuming they're redshirting him to make sure his knee is all the way back 100%
