I've been working on a theory for a 5-2-4 where you have three down defensive linemen and two strong safety types (6'2", 220 lbs fast as hell types) lined up at either end of the line and every down one of the two blitzes to unbalance the line and the other drops back into his linebacker position.
It's still in the theoretical stage. I also have a theory for the offensive line, but that isn't as developed.
Oh, we're talking about real game, not theories. Yes they should move to 4 defensive linemen.

Uh, No. The fact that we switched to a one dimensional QB should have prompted the Cu defensive coach to load the box with 7-8 players (he didn't). The result being that we effectively ran the ball.
