RichRod's bitching about the start time doesn't help either, sets a bad tone for the whole team and trip.

I had never seen bad defense like since RR was at Michigan.

The team should just get a head start on that flight and leave when the 3rd quarter ends.

Nobody's hoping for Stoops. People keep hoping against hope for some coaching with situational awareness.

If I didn't know any better, I'd swear the staff was going into this game conceding this loss.

And the defeated look on Casteel's face says it all. This is his end.

Because who gives a fuck if he was drunk at a race? Did he go up on a stage talking shit about all the other teams in the p12? Is he completely plastered right now on the sidelines?

The answer to both of those is no he isn't. That would be why its a bullshit post, true or not

A year ago, Wazzu went 3-9 and 2-7 in the Pac. I still think they suck but have a decent QB and some other nice pieces. It just goes to show how fickle the game can be on this level.

I don't care how many points we give up, I'd at least like to see us challenging every play. I feel like our whole defensive strategy is "prevent defense." Anyone and everyone is always wide open. It's depressing watching this style, especially when you grew up watching Larry Smith and Dick Tomey teams that would loosen your teeth.

Stoops overall record was 41-50

We would have to be so shitty that to get to Stoops levels we couldn't even win 4 games a season over the next 3 years.

Was there ever a moment Stoops wasn't steaming? I mean, everyone was tone deaf to his antics after awhile. He was a crappy head coach and proved it.

If he is referencing defense then he should say as such, instead of blanket referencing two terrible coaches.

On that last defensive series, our safety made a harder hit on our own linebacker pursuing the ball then he did anyone on their team. We're not even tackling the right team any more.

This reminds me of a john mackovic coached team not a stoops coached team

Not to defend Stoops but his non-conference schedule was a tad more difficult (LSU, etc) while RRod has been playing the NAU's of the world. No, I wouldn't take Stoops over RRod. I would take Stoops ex-wife over Casteel however.
