51° to start the game, mid 40s end of game.

SLC is also 2000 feet higher than Tucson.

Probably shouldn't make much of a difference to elite athletes though.

Yup. Like 42-17 but we score a TD in the last couple minutes kind of loss.

We generally play Utah well. I think you guys are giving to much credit to Utah offense. Will be tough to win for sure but I think it goes like 28-14

27-24 Cats, turnovers the key.

Vegas is saying 32-18 Utah and has been pretty consistent.

No one in Utah is giving us a chance. In fact all week they have been laughing at this game like it is already won. Understood as we are not the best team. They beat Stanford last week and now are unbeatable ;) .

This will be closer than predicted, and wouldn’t be surprised on an upset. Of course that means the real Khalil shows up and decides to run downhill for the first time this season. There defense is solid, but offense is vulnerable.

I feels a choke job coming.

Cats win by two on a last second turnover and field goal. One can hope!

Bear Down.

I wonder who Sumlin would have kick it? ST has been pretty horrific.

I'm actually having a few folks over for the game, which I rarely (well never) do. Please win or at least be competitive.

That was some nice play calling and execution. Take it slowly down the field. Don't try and get it all at once.

Huge choke coming up here

Turn the game on and the first thing I see is Tate throwing a deep pass. Go figure.

It's like he thinks all passes have to be 25+ yards

Tate is NOT a drop back passer. He can throw the quick sideline pass and the 30 yard downfield "throw it up for grabs" pass. He just isn't capable of checking off and throwing that 5-15 yard intermediate pass. And I don't think Joyner is the answer. We need someone who can throw the ball. I would like to see Doyle.

I guess the coaches could only call plays where all receivers only go 10 yards

I cant explain eloquently into words just how little I think of our coaching staff.

To me, despite some smoke and mirrors at times, our defense is still atrocious and Tate is terrible.

After that first TD, knew we'd muck around on offense and it would be 14-0 game over before long.

No pass rush coupled with the slowest secondary in the PAC12 and poor tackling is no way to go through a football season.

And there is your game right there. Our offense is pretty much nonexistent against non FCS and Oregon State teams (averaging 21 a game). So unless Utah turns it over like 4 times, we just don't have the offense to keep up with anyone.

Tate just doesn't want to play. He shouldn't see the field again this season.

Agree. Either Rhett or Doyle...........not Joyner. We are not going to run the ball on this team, we need someone who
can throw the ball downfield.

Not a huge fan of RhettRod, but at least he knows to not throw 30 yard passes every pass play. And he won't pretend to be hurt.

We can only hope. When Tate decided he wanted to be Peyton Manning instead of Cam Denson end of last season he decided he was more important than the team.
