On TV we could only hear one female Cal fan voice, and nobody else in the arena. It was weird. Like they had a mic on her. We heard her taunt Arizona players on the free throw line. We heard her complain about calls. We heard her burp. All we heard was her.

i could hear a little bit of the UofA now and again. the announcers referred to it once or twice. but no exaggeration the mic was like on one girl in the student section.

Somewhat surprised at the tenor of this thread. Yeah, shiiiiiit start. But we had a double digit lead at half despite a 4 point swing on the final possession, and they took it down to a 9 point lead momentarily. But otherwise, I had no doubt we would win this game.

We withstood PAC12 "refereeing", and blew out a team we should beat by 21 points on the road.

What am I missing? We struggled all game with Oregon State in McKale, a similarly bad team. And we had Rawle for that one.

As far as I'm concerned, this is another baby step. Hold Furd under 60, beat em by double digits, and we've got this team rolling again.

Hey, I'm with you. Of course I didn't like the ten thousand turnovers in the first half and not being able to hit a free throw, but Arizona still controlled the game and won big on the road. Winning these conference road games is tough.

I like that we are getting more involvement from the the bench. Do it now we will need them to have gotten their jitters out and make stupid passes and get scolded. Get further along the learning curve

The negatives,
So many turnovers. This implies we won by sheer talent disparity, not discipline. The non-Ayton freshman did not do particularly great against an inferior opponent.

To be fair though, she did have good hygiene. She got someone to hold her drink while she went to pee.
