Game was never in doubt. But I hate it when teams get hot from 3 and keep it close for longer than it should be. Still, all most of the country will see is a 25 point win and Zu's highlight steal and dunk.

Cats really can't put a team away early like they used to. Going to be harder in the NCAAs.

I’m just watching the replay now but did anyone notice that at around the 5 minute mark in the first half Ramey and Ballo had kind of an intense convo in between Ramey’s two free throws? It looked like Ramey was trying to remind Ballo that he’s a badass.
They go down to the other end on the next possession and Ramey grabs a rebound, takes two dribbles, and immediately looks up and fires a half court pass to Ballo right at the basket. Ballo then muscles two guys out of his way and puts up a nice little layup. Morgan State calls timeout and the whole team is pumping Ballo up for such a sweet play.
Courtney Ramey is that dude. He’s the beating heart that every winning team needs. He’s the one that holds everyone else accountable and makes his teammates into the best versions of themselves. I am a huge fan.

Good find CC. I think, though I could be wrong, this was when the announcers said something like " The big man ain't gonna run the floor if you don't feed him." Ballo is a badass but his ass weighs 260. Hammer that weight up the hardcourt without an offering and it starts to weigh even more. Ramey's been around long enough to know what to tell emergent players/teammates need to be told. He will absolutely be key in March.

No one was more happier than Kerr Krissa was after Raney came back off the suspension. Kerr knew how valuable Ramey was when practicing with him before play started.

Our last game before Christmas is almost always a dud.
I wouldn’t read too much into it other than these kids are humans and are ready for a Christmas break

Great first half of the year - couldn't expect much more from this group. 12-1 and ranked #5.
Now let's smoke the Pac regular season!
