They haven't mentioned anything yet. The ESPN3 feed has been fairly poor on my computer.

1-0 but we are threatening. Is that because they haven't played today Greg?

Edit: now 1-1 in the third inning

Yep. It's my understanding that it's hot and humid there today and the Cats have already played 3+ hour game. However, they look pretty good so far other than the one throwing error.

A triple and 2 doubles give the Cats a 3-1 lead, and the Bearcats go to the bullpen.

Great job Dalbec! He had runners on 2nd and 3rd with nobody out and kept them there. The guy is money.

It's going to take a Christmas miracle to win two in a row tomorrow. Our pitching is just spent at this point.

Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

He is not singling out Arizona I just cherry picked those for the board's benefit. He, along with a couple other writers, are just very against college coaches that over work Ps for the benefit of the program. His rants over the years against TCU are awesome.

Absolutely Chi. Plus, you'd think that Bannister was telling the coaches that he wanted to go again today.

Sorry to say but even if the guys were able to pull it out today, which I don't expect because of LLU hitters. They're going to T-off on our tired over used arms.

Our pitchers arms are going to be shot for the next round.

Its no one's fault, its just the way it is with so many games back to back. We just don't have the depth yet in JJ's first year.

Found this from an older site.

For the initial regional rounds of the tournament, the higher seeded team is always the home team. Once the initial regional round is completed, the NCAA uses the following three step process:

Step 1) The team has been the home team fewer times during the tournament becomes the home team.

Step 2) If both teams were the home team the same number of times, count the number of times each team was the visiting team during the tournament. The team that was the visiting team more often during the tournament becomes the home team.

Step 3) If both teams were the home team and visiting team the same number of times and the teams met previously during the tournament, the visitor in the immediately preceding game between the two teams becomes the home team.

Step 4) If both teams were the home team and visiting team the same number of times and the teams did not previously meet during the tournament, the team that was the visitor in its most recent, preceding game becomes the home team.

Step 5) If both teams were the home team and visiting team the same number of times, the teams did not previously meet during the tournament, and both teams were the visitor (or home team) in their most recent, preceding game, then the home team is decided by a coin flip.

He has to pitch as many innings as he can, the arms are tired. Dalbec and Ming can pitch.

Ginkel almost gives up a 2nd HR. He may be tiring. 3-1 Cats bottom of 4th inning.
