Ira Lee
How does this man not have his own topic yet?
Always love watching his intensity and effort, today was great for him.
I think I figured out why he dunks so hard. He's not trying to break the rim, he's just imagining the refs' heads are in the way

It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

We get that kind of production off the bench going forward and we will win a bunch of games

Re: Ira Lee
Dude is ripped too.
Not sure he will ever get a play called for him, but nice to see his teammates pass to him.
My only complaint is that he really can't run the floor well. Just kind of lumbers down the court. Not that it really matters, when Mannion and Green run the floor so well, along with who is playing the 2G.

Tomato juice all over the floor.
Cottage cheese all over the walls.
Ira, you’ll never know how sorry I am.

Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Re: Ira Lee
if Arizona can land Haarms, with a senior in Lee, the prospects of Arizona’s front line would be exciting including Brown and Koloko.

I don't even care anymore about Lee the player. In spite of life difficulties and and the angst of them during youth, as a human being, he's perfect.

No dessert for her then.
My HS German teacher used to go nuts about Der Wienerschnitzel. "Wienerschnitzel is not a hot dog, it's a veal cutlet. And it's DAS Wienerschnitzel!"

I hope he is the man there in DC!
Really loved his heart and the energy he brought to the court when he played. Hope he finds his calling there and sets himself up for his future.

Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

Ira has injured a knee in a pickup game. He will be out for at least eight months. Sadly, his basketball days could be over - he deserved better.

Re: Ira Lee
Since last season was a "free" season I wonder if he can redshirt this season, then play one more.

He didn't redshirt, so he should get one more year, but man, that is a crippling injury for a basketball player.Postmaster wrote: ↑Sun Aug 15, 2021 12:12 am I thought he was at Georgetown, guess I need to pay more attention.

So sorry to hear this happened. I was hoping he'd have a great year there.
